Stuart Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/dedicated-cardiff-city-fan-died-12712763 Absolutely tragic news from Ewood. Poor guy went to a football match on a Tuesday and didn't come home. RIP Bluebird

dingles staying down 4ever Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 My thoughts are with another football fan's family. RIP
Mattyblue Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Really sad to read and it made me think of 'our' Mike's I travel (fairly) often on the Ewood Blues coach and there are some real stalwarts on there, midweek games at the other side of the country are a fairly regular occurrence in the Football League. it takes up a lot of time and money, and when you support a club like Rovers or Cardiff, it sure aint done for the glory! Real passion and love for your club and for me are the unsing heros at any club. RIP Mike
onlyonejackwalker Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Sad news. RIP. Best wishes to his family and friends.
Mike Graham Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Sad news about Mike Jones. Even sadder that his family were unable to say goodbye. He left home to support his team and never returned. It is times like this when football fans show their good side and caring nature.
Gav Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Puts things into perspective really, best wishes to his family.

Backroom Mike E Posted March 9, 2017 Backroom Posted March 9, 2017 He died doing what he loved and I hope that can be some small comfort to his family and friends. RIP Mike Jones.
rog of the rovers Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 RIP Mike Jones Dedicated fans like him are the backbone of all football clubs.

jim mk2 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 A real football man - very sad. I hope the club have done something more sensitive than put out a trite message on Twitter. A big bunch of flowers for his family would show a bit of class.

Minutes' applause before the start of the next home game as well, surely. It's become a bit trite too but this is certainly deserving of the tribute.
