Well the sun came up this morning and the World is still on it's axis. Still feeling s bit numb but at least it's over now.

One more game left this season.

FC Halifax v Chorley in the playoffs this coming Saturday.  Chorley are expecting to take about 2K fans.

Absolutely incredible - no doubt they will still be spouting postivie bowlux as the new season draws near and there still hasn't been any attempt to bring in players to replace those who leave in the Rexodus (relgation exodus) that WILL START in the next 2 weeks..

Kansas is about to go bye bye... If you think the future looks bleak now, just wait 10 weeks or so for the true 'vision' of whoever is orchestrating this club's decline. It won't be pretty. Backward stawt!

So almost 24 hours after relegation confirmed and still nothing from those most responsible for our demise. Nothing from Venkys, Cheston or Senior.

As expected the cowards are hiding, instead choosing to leave Mowbray out on a limb and have to be the public face of this club in its darkest hour. Mowbray and his tenure are the only brief positives this season. They are deliberately trying to exploit that good will to protect themselves when this isn't Mowbray's fault and he shouldn't be the one talking at this point.

Where's Mike Cheston and his outstanding candidate? Who really appointed Coyle? Where's Paul Senior when you need him?

Apart from Bradford/Millwall and the Lge 2 play off winners we now know 22 of the 24 teams that will be in Lge 1 next season. From today onwards everyone else on that list will be sorting out contracts, setting budgets, lining up transfers and free agents, putting coaching teams in place and applying the finishing touches to pre-season ready to hit the ground running in 6 weeks or so.

Listening to Mowbray he has no idea what the future holds or whether he'll be part of it. Like everything it depends on what the crooks in India do next. Weeks will tick by with nothing done except a few friendlies organised against Chorley, Stockport and Fylde. Confusion and inertia will reign and then before we know it pre-season will be starting again and we'll be weeks or months behind rivals yet again.

No point hanging on for word from Venkys anyway it'll just be the dreaded remain committed to the getting back to the Prem joke. That will be enough to slice off another few thousand season ticket holders in itself.

Spare a thought for the Rovers players this morning.

It must be a nightmare trying to pack for a month of pool parties in Vegas and champagne Lounges in Marbs

I shouldn't do it to myself, but I kept waking up last night, with the relegation and the club on my mind. Wouldn't it be nice to think people who work for and are paid by the club, or any decision makers, felt the same way?

Just wait for the relegation odds to come out, as if people are that stupid, there could be money to be made. On Sky bet at the minute, they have us as 7/1 favourites to be champions and 9/4 favourites to promoted. They say that the bookies are never wrong, but this is well out. No odds for relegation just yet, we will be a big price by the look of that and there is money to be made. I honestly believe we are evens for that, with or without a points deduction.

Wigan and Rotherham will be in far better health than us. Plymouth and Portsmouth will have momentum and a winning habit. The likes of Bradford/Millwall, Fleetwood, Rochdale and Southend who have gone close this year will build again and fancy going one better.

The only concern at Rovers is how Mike Cheston can pay the monthly bills and Paul Senior can use his contacts to recruit enough players on low wages to fill the squad up whilst shifting a few out hopefully for money.

Lenihan and Evans will be sold to the Championship. They'll fetch a couple of million between them.

Saw some quite devastated people on the school run this morning

For many in the area the Rovers is a cornerstone of their lives.

For us when I was young the week all built up to lunch at Clayton St chippy in Harwood followed by rovers then match of the day.

People travel up and down the Country week in week out to follow this team and they are genuinely scared for what comes next

Well

What can I say except - Apologies , and commiserations to the Rovers faithful

We weren't on the beach but didn't fancy some of the challenges that were flying about and the most one sided refereeing performance I've seen in a long long time

Birmingham must have wasted about 75 mins of the game and if Lee Mason isn't in Redknapps pocket after the worst refereeing performance I've seen in many many years,  I don't know anymore

They must have wasted literally 20-30 mins of game time and Mason was embarrassingly pathetic

Sorry all - really fancied us today and we never looked in sync at all

You will be back better and stronger

Along with the Huddersfield controversy, Birmingham were never going down with Arry in charge were they.

The treatment of the fans is unprecedented. Isn't it normal for the club to come out and apologize to the fans for a relegation?

Same happened last time.

They're still "confused" from the PL relegation, it could take quite some time for them to process this one.

Some sense of relief that we now know our fate. I would be more devatstated if it had been a surprise, but it's been coming for such a long time.

But don't worry, the negativity void will now be filled with wondering when we'll go in administration, will we have enough players to fill the pitch, never mind the subs bench, will we be able to avoid a second successive relation.

With Venky's for owners, we're never short of things to be anxious about. God forbid that they should actually try to turn things around or make a statement, that would ruin the fun of non-specific anxiety.

Once we've got all that out of the way, we can get down to the serious business of wondering if we'll be liquidated or whether we'll just carry on dropping through the pyramid.

Thanks Walker Trust, Venky's, SkyEM Sports, Jerome Anderson, Crescendo/SEM/Kentaro, Philippe Huber, that Italian with the funny name, Charlie Nicholas, Matt Lawton with his 500 pieces of fan mail a day, Steve ************* Kean, Bradley Orr, Paul Agnew, Derek Shaw Burnley Bob. You've all helped bring this great institution to its knees. I wish a pox on you, I bvet your mothers are all very proud. Upstanding, ethical, honorable men, one and all.
