Wigan and Rotherham will be in far better health than us. Plymouth and Portsmouth will have momentum and a winning habit. The likes of Bradford/Millwall, Fleetwood, Rochdale and Southend who have gone close this year will build again and fancy going one better.

The only concern at Rovers is how Mike Cheston can pay the monthly bills and Paul Senior can use his contacts to recruit enough players on low wages to fill the squad up whilst shifting a few out hopefully for money.

Lenihan and Evans will be sold to the Championship. They'll fetch a couple of million between them.

This is the problem that will surface in the next few weeks with vultures sniffing around and agents eager for their %. Mowbray will draw up a list he wants to keep, Senior & Cheston will have pound & percent signs in their eyes as will the owners. Mowbrays list will certainly contain the Lenihens etc but the asset cash list will have them in the other column.

That will probably end with the manager exercising an exit clause.

Just read a tweet from that gay hating scroat Andre Gray laughing at our relegation.

We'll Andre form is temporary, but you'll always be a homophobic dingle ****.

Plat the ball, not the man :P

At least we won and suffered relegation by a GD of -2.

We went down with far more dignity than ever seemed likely until Mowbray was appointed.

At least the younger fans got a taste of what is was like following the Rovers pre Walker era.

Terracing, passionate fans creating a great atmosphere, committed players and a good away win.

When we talk about the good old days, that was what we mean.

You can't get much closer than that, and it's rare for a club to go through the trapdoor with 51 points. No doubt Mowbray improved you and made you hard to beat.

Our forum is busy , but rarely a thread about referees - if you can bear it , read this and you will see what people's thoughts of Mason were yesterday (Have a stiff drink before you do it !)

His performance stunk , and I mean stunk !

I'm sure Arry will be sending him a Christmas card.

Traditionally we send them in red envelopes, have a feeling Arry's may be a different colour!

That makes awful reading, Brizzle Boy. Thanks for the link. There seems to be a heck of a lot of corruption in the game today compared to several decades ago.

It's the money and the greed that does it.
