Charlie Magpie Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Just as the rain stops, the skies clear and the sun begins to shine Premier and Championship League teams take a break for the World Cup qualifying matches. England will play Lithuania on Sunday, so if you are desperate for a Saturday afternoon of live football on the sunniest Saturday of the year so far, you would be made most welcome at Chorley's Victory Park where the promotion-chasing Magpies play host to Curzon Ashton. It is very tight at the top of the National League North division with seven or eight clubs pushing for a play-off place. A game the in-form Magpies should win but it promises to be a keenly-contested affair. Admission prices are as follows; Adults £10.00; concessions (over 60s) £7.00; youths 12-16yrs £5.00; under 12s (primary school children) FREE! (must be accompanied by an adult). We aim to provide an entertaining afternoon of football for the whole family at an affordable price. Enjoy the 'good-old days' of standing on the terraces, swapping ends at half-time and enjoying a pint or two in the social club! Sun lotion and sunglasses are always recommended when you visit sunny Chorley!! 3.00pm kick-off, be great to see you there!

There could not be a better day for experiencing a new or different ground in our locality. Chorley town centre provides an ideal venue for a pre-match pub crawl and lunch, followed by a 5 minute walk in the sunshine to Victory Park. Please try to give some support to one of our local non-league clubs today. Whichever ground you decide to visit, I hope you have an enjoyable afternoon!

Sparks Rover Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Chorley bloody rubbish. £7 for kids is a joke to watch that level.
JPTSwindon Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Everyone has an off day. They have done very well to be up there with Flyde and Kidderminster Harriers. Good for those who supported the non-league / lower league tables on Saturday.
AllRoverAsia Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Chorley have a great website. I like being able to look at game highlights for free. Have a look at their Board of Directors. Run like a proper football club. I plan to go to see them play next visit back.
