[Archived] Previous Game: Nottingham Forest Away

A must, must win...

After Saturday can anyone feel positive?  Or is this set to be like the time we played Forest the first time we dropped out of the Premier League?

We need to show the desire of the 2nd half against Reading and Steele needs to remember he is a keeper.

Come on Rovers!

Never looked forward to an away trip less.

Though on paper it's still do-able, two games over Easter against the teams just above, in reality, we've gone. The other three clubs are actually 'fighting for their lives', we've thrown the towel in.

Saw on the big screen on Saturday that we've taken an additional allocation of tickets, so there will be plenty of us down there- so much more than this shambles of a club deserves.

Playing against a struggling team fighting for their lives is the last thing we need...they will have a large home crowd behind them too.

Zero confidence in our awful side.

The problem (well one of many) is that we just played a team at Ewood, who have nothing to play for and they turned us over with ease.

2-0 defeat. No confidence in the players or even the manager to be honest to get anything from this.

Assombolonga will make Wonga's lolly linger longer on Rovers accounts. He'll be a bit much for Brown & Co as he sends us to Div 3.

Good Friday seems an appropriate day for a crucifixion.

Then again, football,  bloody hell. We may chop down the Tricky Trees, suck the life out of the Bristol City's, and come out of the Easter period resurrected.

Is ToMo the Second Coming?

'I am the Resurrection and I am the Life'.

Rumour on the grapevine those at the Dingledome are organising a flyover plane for an upcoming game... is it too early at Forest?

How original !

It will backfire on some of the six fingered ones, will cause panic in dingleville a big shiny metal bird in the sky, be plenty of witches burnt to protect them from this new evil winged god.

They must be absolutely loving this, for years they sat below us, never beating us.

Now they are on the up, whilst we haven't even begun to arrest our slide.

Every dog has its day and all that but our recovery could take a very, very long time.

That would fit, they are completely and utterly obsessed with us.

Can't see anything but a defeat. We usually concede first and on the rare occasions where we manage to score first we have no capability to go on and score again, let alone stop the other team from scoring.

Either 2-1 to forest or a complete capitulation and 3 or 4 nil.

A tight defeat will probably feel worse. In a way I would just prefer us to be put out of our misery sooner rather than later. I can't believe things have come to this.

Just thought the Dingle TwoHats will not spend a penny until relegation is confirmed.

We need anti aircraft for the Villa game.

1-0 to Forest. Even tho I think 49 is the magic number they will see this as the game to win they stay up.

They score early and then park the bus, going off reports from Saturday we could still be playing and not score, I wish we had the capability to park the bus and nick a goal but we dont.

We need to go out and do to them exactly what Barnsley did to us but we won't and Forest roared on by a likely big home crowd will nail us to the relegation cross. The weight of the loss will be down to if Brown is selected again or not. We could ship 4 or 5 if he's in again.

Forest 3    Rovers 1
