This season had been n nothing but torture.

We really need a win at wolves. There's no way of knowing how forest will do at home to reading. Birmingham path the day after, so whether they're imploding or not, they'll know what they need to do to keep a cushion.

It's nerve-wracking

Not ideal, but some @#/? poor teams around us which I can see bailing us out. Main concern for me is that despite those rubbish teams we've been in the bottom 3 for as long what seems an eternity.

If we win 2 of the last 3 we should be ok. Big ask though and I can't really see it.

Lambert who got shafted or us pitfully away to his semi-decent side including a now fully fit Marsh.

Villa to be fair are in a bit of bother but it's a PL quality side so chances are it won't be happening.

Brentford.... Hit and miss this year, the likelier of 3 points.

Can't see another win which is why we had to go for it today.

I think so now yes. I'll not annoy the hopefuls though and harp on about it..

We should have got beat today by the sounds of things, someones looking after us, keep the faith.

Yeah, its not in these teams interests to roll over and die either. Need to do our bit first.

Looking at the fixtures, I think it might take 4 more points to stay up. Hopefully, point from Wolves, beat Rotherham on the final day in a squeaky bum special. Can't see Brum getting 4, Forest just might, Burton and Bristol probably now safe.

Mercer is a very good poster ..... except for his betting SLIPS

Birmingham game at the weekend is Villa away, but being played on Sunday. If we can manage a win at Wolves, we will go above them and the pressure will be on them, in what is a fierce local derby.

Annoyed for those who made an effort to go today, who put boycotting and staying away to the side to come and get behind them and they witnessed that, Pete/Mike E said it was shocking/poor.

Sticks in my throat, Mowbray last couple of weeks urging fans to come back which may have irked people and they put that abject 90 minutes in.

Happens every time. I'd actually argue the pressure of a larger crowd might cause the current squad of cowards to play worse.

I can see birmingham to be the one to drop. Villa away. Huddersfield at home bristol away. What a dog awful manager zola is.

Birmingham could quite conceivably not get another point - but can we get 3 to go above them?

Rotherham? if only we had them.

We wish we were playing Rotherham last game! We have Brentford away.

Highly unlikely. Wolves won at Leeds today and are in good form. Plus a certain Mr Lambert will have them up for it.

Agreed. Funnily enough I think our best bet of 3 points will be against the Bees as they should have their heads on the beach.

I too reckon it'll go to the final day.

I'm quite happy taking my chances at Wolves. Team with nothing to play for, I know one or two people there will have personal issues with the club, but it doesn't have any baring on their season does saturday's game.

Team with "nothing to play for" just went and won at promotion chasing Leeds today.

Truth be told we should have been 4 down when we scored from nothing. (Was that a Mahoney cross maybe I was too harsh before)

The safe by Raya was massive, it still feels like a loss at the moment though

Another home game where we just could not get the job done. It's between us, Brum and Forest... three truly pathetic teams who all deserve to go down. Whoever stays up won't be doing so with any pride, but at this point I can't say for sure it'll definitely be us who takes the drop. This is going to the wire.

That's a bit harsh on us. We've shown comfortable mid-table form under Mowbray, it's bloody Coyle's fault we're in this position.
