Funnily enough I think our best bet of 3 points will be against the Bees as they should have their heads on the beach. I too reckon it'll go to the final day. They'll be playing like Rotherham.. Just think we've played better away recently and that's where the points we need will come from. Just.

West Yorks Rover Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Just listened to report on Leeds v Wolves. Wolves very impressive looked like the team going for play-offs. We need to hope Brum keep Zola.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Too many putting a brave face on a truly dire situation Jim.

lraC Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 I am not a positive, just for the sake of it poster, but think of things this way. Before Friday, would we have taken 4 points from the 2 games and also for 2 of the teams around us to lose both? We were 4 adrift of safety and now we are I point behind forest, who have a 3 goals advantage over us and 3 away from Birmingham. This weekend is going to be big yet again and it is certainly still not all over,

Much easier I'd say to go to Leeds motivated without fear playing against a promotion chasing club and a 31-32k crowd as opposed to a relegation struggler at home.

Bigdoggsteel Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 The thing about playing teams "with nothing to play for" is this. They are relaxed and can try things they would not usually try. If they score first, the team "with something to play for" immediately come under huge pressure. For that reason it is imperative that we try and score first in our 3 remaining games. All of whom "have nothing to play for"
JacknOry Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Brave face is all we have left. There are still points to play for and other teams that are in the dire bracket such as ourselves and while its a tall order we never know.

Yes, you're right. I'm sure Wolves are quaking in their boots as a Rovers side full to the brim with confidence arrives at Molyneux.

Backroom DE. Posted April 17, 2017 Backroom Posted April 17, 2017 Just now, LeChuck said: That's a bit harsh on us. We've shown comfortable mid-table form under Mowbray, it's bloody Coyle's fault we're in this position. It isn't harsh at all, it's the reality of the situation. For some that won't hit until we're actually relegated. It was the same when Kean took us down, excuses right until the bitter end. It isn't Mowbray's fault, but make no mistake, this is a squad with no character, no leadership and no heart. We'll have one hell of a rebuild job in the summer, relegated or not, with no money and a tarnished reputation. What a time to be a Rovers fan.

RevidgeBlue Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Great last 15 mins and Bristol folded like a deck of cards when we finally put them under a bit of pressure. Disgrace we took 75 mins to turn up in a must win game though. For me Mowbray isn't the man to take us forward next season whichever division we're in. 2 must win home games and we haven't turned up in either and the manager must take his share of the blame for that.
bluefred Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 If we actually go out to win the game from the first whistle , I can see us picking up more points than Forrest and Birmingham. But if we approach the remaining games as we did today then it's curtains.

And who is "the man"? Mowbray deserves a transfer window regardless of what division we are in. He picked up an absolute shambles from Coyle.
matt83 Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Not enough. We are like a thirsty traveller walking in the desert and there's a mirage on the horizon but ultimately we will die of thrist. May well be a glimmer of hope if x,y,z happens but I think we all know we will go down just a matter of when. Other than mercer who thinks we've been nailed on to win in each of the 43 games in spite of only winning 10 all season.
