Roverseas' avatar is on the statement. I find it a bit odd that he hasn't put out a YT video about it. It's not like he needs an excuse to put out a video..

Are Rovers was and California Rover one and the same?

If they are, that might explain the absence of a video. They seem to have opposing views to the majority of the WATR membership.

Reach. Engagement.

Needs a concerted campaign of awareness/engagement by WATR to drive commitment.

Agreed. Fantastic that statement from 2(?) weeks ago. But absolutely no communication or update since?

Is there any way of canvassing the fans/ membership about a none renewal of season tickets, unless there is some proper communication from the owners about their intentions?

Make being a non season-ticket holder, a sign of displeasure with the Venkys

I’ll post it here as nobody from the trust has…🤨

Maybe they should spread the message far and wide then. Farther and wider than a single twitter post anyway....

Again, the lack of presence even on here is piss poor.

I do 100% support the stance the trust is taking.

Hello Everyone 👋

I thought it was time to introduce myself to you. I’m the media and social media officer for WATR.

I’m continually trying to improve communication. We are trying and we will continue giving updates.

I’m happy to have a conversation, see what we can do to improve things on a communication basis. Ultimately, we all want the same thing. Our beloved club back 🌹

Hello, I worry any sort of momentum you had with the initial statement has been lost.

Desperately needed to keep the pressure on the Venkys/Pasha and I worry that's been lost with the lack of comms with the fans.

Has there been any meetings with Waggott/Pasha since the statement?

WATR said yesterday "We haven't received a response from the club. However, we didn’t expect the club to comment or acknowledge our statement because it was aimed at the owners. " so I take no meetings cos they would have to acknowledged the statement.

What pressure on you putting on Venkys when they are India?

The pressure isn’t stopping by any means.

I’m currently working on a comms consultation to find out from members and fans, how we can improve comms, type of content 👀. I will put this on here for everyone to see and give their input.

We are waiting to finalise the next date for our MOU Meeting.

Great that you ae posting on here, as I along with many others log on daily in the hope of some news about this and other things.

Plenty of differing opinions and maybe the odd fall out, but I think almost everyone on here, thinks the same way about the owners and communication of some sort, seems vital.

Do you happen to know who, if anybody, the Rovers are held responsible too.

WATR cannot claim to represent its membership if its membership is never asked for their opinion.

Correct, question I've asked in this topic for months, but no response.

Comms needs to be better than whatever Rovers do.

Still think it's a disgrace how the Trust lauded that prick Gestede like he was a legend when in fact he refused to play to fuck off elsewhere.

Only an empty stadium would force Suhail & Steve to have to go to the owners and admit there's a problem.

But...that is simply never going to happen.

It's not like boycotting Asda & shopping in Tesco - football is a drug. Many people will continue to go because of many & various social reasons/habit/loyalty BUT...there is little doubt that the "loyal rump" of season ticket holders is dwindling & more fans seem happier to go to away games.

I've used the phrase "death of a thousand cuts" on many podcasts, that's where we are. Slowly, inexorably, drifting away from any credible aspiration to return to the Premier League.

The life support machine remains plugged in...for now, but no surgical or medical plan has been agreed to restore full health.
