Swag will just up and leave out of the blue into retirement bliss. Be it this summer or possibly next. His job is to keep doing what he is doing and try and avoid getting a hard time from the fans doing it.

There’s no-one pushing for a long term plan at Ewood as the person who should be doing that knows he isn’t going to be around to implement it.

Not gonna be either because we've got no young fan base with.brass bollocks, all our mature/older stalwart fans aren't coming back under the venky reign even to support the team, and out of the two of those groups the older bunch are the ones we are looking at to do anything serious protest wise but everyone's now.got families settles and don't want to disrupt their own lives for it whereas once upon a time they would have jumped the barrier at Ewood or thrown tennis balls stormed the pitch infront of the exec seats and actually give fk. Where are these people when we need them the most

I already answered that question a few times, and one of those times I was responding to you directly. In future, please pay attention to what other people have to say.

To summarise, I'm doing a lot more than just burying my head in the sand like you are chaddy.

So you're going to carry on doing nothing then, just like you have for the last 15 years.

Oh wait, actually you don't just do nothing, you take every opportunity to defend the club's actions regardless of how detrimental they are to the history, legacy, the fanbase and the town.

Unless it's an inside job to get them to raise tickets to such an obscene price nobody can afford them.

I’ve been told tonight that WATR have been working with Rovers on a season ticket offering for next year to try and increase sales. I don’t know if this is true or not, but I sincerely hope it isn’t. If it is, you are being used once again and need to walk away from anything that makes Waggott and Pasha’s job easier.

I’m not sure who WATR represent at this point? It’s certainly not me or any fan I know.

If the extent of WATR’s contact with the executive team of the football club is anything other than breaking their noses every time they see them, then I don’t understand what they’re trying to achieve.

”Get your bosses to sell the club”

”No, I am so shit at this job that there is nowhere else that would employ me. Can you help me get my bonus next year?”

*WATR becoming Steven Gerrard in a post-match interview for a second*

”Yeah, ‘course.”

Well this needs to be confirmed or denied ASAP.

I imagine that’s exactly what they are doing, as it’s in their ‘marketing prospectus’ after all.

They have obviously been blindsided (amazingly, because who could possibly have seen this latest debacle coming) by recent events so are still sticking to their well worn plans regardless of that.

I don't like the clandestine things that go on and if WATR are helping with ideas then members should be canvassed for their opinions too and whatever is said should be made public.

There is certainly a bit too much secrecy here at the minute and it feels like it is a bit hard to support. I genuinely do want to become a member, but the feedback from current membership, does not encourage me to do so.

If WATR wants to be a credible pressure group, it needs to unambiguously state what its aims, objectives & modus operandi to achieve those objectives are & then canvass the members for ratification of that proposed approach.

Then it can legitimately go on a recruitment drive to sign up likeminded folks who agree.

Those who don’t agree can knowingly steer clear, those who do, know what they are signing up for…

Until WATR has say 5000 members it cannot create waves of sufficient magnitude to move the dial.

In fairness, for balance, I’m not entirely sure Rovers has 5000 fans who are sufficiently disenchanted but unless & until there is an obvious channel for discontent, it’s hard to know for sure.

More transparency and less secret society kind of stuff is what’s needed, IMO.

It shouldn’t come to a member on here, passing on what he’s heard, it’s not a transfer rumour.

This should have been fed to the membership already, then members canvassed for their views.

Didn't the WATR group put their ST ideas over the Rovers management and different price options? if memory serves me right, this was done before the last statement

Doing nothing? I will continue to support the club and be STH and enjoying going Ewood Park, buying club merchandise, etc. Showing any potential new owner that there is a fan base here if the current owners ever sell it.

What I won't do like you do regular is slagged off our supporters. Maybe that the problem with you

I can safely say this is not the case. I'm not sure where your information came from.

In the past WATR have offered season ticket ideas that they believe would be of benefit to fans. In no way was it aimed at increasing club revenue. Those ideas have been in the public domain for a long time.

Apart from some WATR reps attending a meeting about the 150th anniversary ( a fairly general meeting with BandD council and other groups ), there has been no contact from the club since the end of January when WATR issued their statement asking the owners to sell the club.

WATR are very much on the offensive I can assure you.
