Yasir worded his tweet about an apology to make it look like the Trust had retracted what they said. Very fucking naughty of him, that.

He went on Facebook n stated he'd received a full apology as it wasn't true.

I know the trust have now stated that their public statements stands, which includes what Yasir said, so maybe it needs another statement, issuing by the reconfirming that is what he said. Perhaps Yasir needs to issue an apology himself, if he is now being called out and is trying to deny it was said.

If he said it and now regrets it, then be big enough to say so, but more importantly, if he said it and didn't mean it, then what is he doing about attempting to bring back lapsed fans?

WATR have given the Club enough rope there to hang themselves. If that was the longer game, fair do's.

The absolute contempt we are held in.

The gap between us and them is unbridgeable. They will just string us along.

It doesn’t work. If there’s minutes, they don’t say anything.

This is part of the reason I dislike the combined Sheff Weds Trust x Rovers Trust statement. It talks about more communication.

Pasha has been here 15 years.

Waggott has been here 7 years.

Yasir has been here 5 years.

They’ve had more than enough time to talk and engage with fans and the attempts that have been made have proven to be meaningless. Can we stop trying to meet these people? They’re only asking for meetings to try and stop pressure on themselves.

What I am saying is, if there is meetings, then these meetings need to be recorded, then there wouldn't be any doubt on whether Yasir said what he did etc.

I completely agree with the rest of the post.

Is Yasir the chap who does the community stuff in schools?

He was originally employed to engage with Asian population of the town, to get them interested in football, as it was notable not many attended. It was to tap into this market.

This is where Ewood express was really born 4 years ago. It's become more inclusive as time has progressed but it's not free. The kids still need to pay, but the door to door service allows parents to send kids with responsible team leaders.

He was awarded for his efforts with the strangest promotion ever when he was given head of commercial some 12 months ago.

This is where the problem lies, he's not actually achieving a thing in his new role as he's out of his depth and has a very conscious bias approach. He reverts back to his old role which should now be getting overseen by lower management as he once was and not by the commercial manager.

He's in Suhails pocket (Paul agnew style) and ain't overly liked at Ewood.

He's eyes on the boardroom , and tbh had he not confirmed many people's suspicions with his comment to WATR, he'd be extremely irrelevant in peoples minds right now.

He's seen weakness and sees the path to fast track promotion just like Gestede.

His ego is what's killed him this past week, and arrogance.

However he can't become a distraction as it's the board that need to go along with venkys. New owners, new board and he will then be judged on the job he's employed to do, not the job he was use to be employed to do.

The former he's failing miserably and pushing the Ewood express as his commentary to detract from the facts, he's been a useless commercial manager

Are we looking to get the Venkys disqualified under the EFL fit and proper test?

Similar to Reading?

Surely that's our best route.

Let's not worry about the details

The Footballing authorities or Government authorities aren't going to do anything as far as they are concern they are running the club right, proper and fit. They aren't saddling the club with debt.

The EFL won't do anything.

I think that Glen and Herbie points here

We would all more engaged with the supporters, probably appoint different people to key roles and have a different ST plan, commercial plan and be open and better communication with the supporters base if we were owner of BRFC.

I've also seen the racist card played in the last 48 hours which is shameful. We live in a multi national and faith town in harmony and within the coalition (which he's hinted is racially driven) we have an inclusive set of people from different religions, race, gender and sexualality.

Absolute disgrace if found to be true...he can step down for me with those views.

We have had this before with Anderson and it was nothing but a divisive, ill informed comment at the time and if the race card is being played again, then shame on them.

Thanks for the detailed info.  He came into school last summer doing a  workshop with my  class.  Seemed odd given his position.

had the communication been better for years and they communicate properly, we might not be here now

For example

Derby approach Eustace and Rovers on the Friday before the Wolves game but somehow he is allow to take charge of that game then he said he has just find out post game about the approach, which wasn't true. Rovers and Eustace didn't tell the fans the exactly situation, trust breaks down there. That situation was mis management by the club. Rovers should have put Eustace, Downing and Gardiner on gardening leave and Rovers should have put Lowe and Johnson until further notice. Rovers on Saturday morning release a statement saying Derby has approach us for Eustace and his staff, They want to hold talks with them so they have been place on Gardening leave and who is in charge of the first team affairs until further notice. Sadly we didn't do any of them and we didn't know who was in charge of WBA game until 2 hours before kick off. Then after Eustace move to Derby was done and confirmed, Rovers CEO or Director of football should have been in front of camera doing an interview with Elliott Jackson, Radio Lancs and Rovers TV explaining why Eustace left what the plan is going forward and the process to appointing a new head coach. Then why Ismael was appointed, Gestede and Waggott should have done a press conference with Ismael telling the fans why he was picked, etc, etc.

Same with the transfer window, etc, etc.

Complaining that the club should have 'communicated properly' with fans during the Eustace debacle is moot.

Under a competent board, the situation wouldn't have arisen in the first place.

it was just one example of why the communication should have been better.
