Bigdoggsteel Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 So went to log onto ifollow and I got a message that my IP has been blocked by the elf website. I was using a VPN. Very disappointing. Lucky I was just using match passes and not a season pass. Quote

I notice the VPN I sometimes use is stopping it's free service in a few weeks. Also this very same VPN stopped working on several sites this year. BBC etc. started blocking VPN's a while back too. Total control is coming.... Edited October 20, 2018 by Husky 1 Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 Is the game on any channel other than sky? Even an American channel or something? Quote

It's funny though, the more they shut down access from paying customers via VPN, the more it pushes people toward pirated streams where the clubs make no money at all. Quote
philipl Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 VPN Express free for first 30 days. Then about £50 for a year. Beats the Great Firewall. You chose where you are in the world. Los Angeles 3 particularly good. Quote

Hence sites like BBC blocking certain VPNs that previously used to work. 1 Quote

Roverthechimp Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 (edited) Was wondering if it was just me ? Restarted everything 3 times ? Edited November 3, 2018 by Roverthechimp Quote
Husky Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 (edited) The sound works on all the ifollow videos and the listen live link (albeit just the music). So again, it's the numpties that sort out the live streams that are to blame (last week they switched from the West Brom commentary to Rovers after about 10 mins). I think it's because the commentators haven't turned up and plugged in the sound lead. . . It was better last season when the sound and camera feeds were together on the same channel. philipl Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Silent movies today, Given the QPR strip it would be better in black and white but with sound. Quote

Husky Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I have a theory it's because the Blackburn lot are terrible timekeepers. As last week they turned up late and had the West Brom feed for the first 10 mins or so. But QPR don't have iFollow. . . .hence today's silent movie. Quote
Roverthechimp Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Don't mind no commentary but weird without any sound from the ground Quote
Husky Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Yeah, as I said, it was better last year when the sound feed came with the camera. We don't need commentary (it's mostly inane waffle anyway), plus we're reliant on 2 things now rather than 1. Quote

Husky Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Damned, they've switched to the commentary feed (and it sounds like they are still in the aforementioned bog). Atmosphere GONE! 1 Quote

Husky Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Has anyone else been getting these numbers popping up occasionally? Or is it time for a new laptop? ? Quote
perthblue02 Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 (edited) loving the new enhancement of computer code randomly appearing all over the screen, not sure what it enhances though @Husky _ it is them trying to track where live feeds are coming from that have gone out into the wild Edited November 3, 2018 by perthblue02 1 Quote
