Blackburn and Wolves are level at half-time following an interesting first half at Ewood Park. David Hoilett nearly put Rovers ahead early in the game, but his far post effort was just kept out by Wolves' keeper Wayne Hennessey, but Blackburn's frustration didn't last long as Mauro Formica put them ahead on 20 minutes. The Argentine was slipped through by Jason Roberts and made it a dream debut when he coolly shot across Hennessey and into the far corner. Joy was short-lived though, as the lead only lasted 90 seconds when Fletcher rose above Salgado at the far post to put Wolves level.
