Sources close to Rovers have indicated that Jensen has carried the can for Rovers' poor start to the season. In an official statement Rovers thanked John for the hard work that he had put in since joining the club in January. Manager Steve Kean remains under pressure with Rovers just one point off the bottom of the Premiership and big-spending Manchester City due at Ewood Park on Saturday. The removal of Jensen is unlikely to appease fans if Rovers lose to Manchester City. A poll conducted by BRFCS currently shows that 94.7% of the 491 respondents want Steve Kean sacked.
