Rovers and City are level at the break following a fairly even first half in which both sides threatened. Manchester City have had the majority of possession and have created several good chances, but have failed to seriously test Paul Robinson.

Despite having only 34% possession Rovers have still managed to look dangerous on the break, with Junior Hoilett and Yakubu linking up well.

Manchester City were forced into an early change when Sergio Aguerro went off injured in the 27th minute.
