Eddie1363894574
Rovers look in big trouble at the Reebok where they trail Bolton 2-0 at half-time. David Wheater has scored both of Bolton's goals and Kean will be disappointed with the nature of the two goals. Bolton have had the majority of possession, but it has been a match of few chances so far and both sides have relied heavily on direct play and set pieces. The home side started the better, but Rovers will be unhappy with the fact that they were not awarded a penalty in the 23rd minute when it appeared that Steinsson caught Hoilett as he surged into the Bolton box. Replays showed that there was clearly contact and that the Rovers players had every right to appeal. Despite that scare it was Bolton that took the lead when Nzonzi could only flick on Petrov's cross and Wheater was there to head the home side in front. Yakubu then went close to equalising when his powerful header went just wide, but Wheater then got his second when he met Miyaichi's corner with a thumping header to leave Robinson with no chance.
