The Norwegian had joined the club on loan from Manchester United, but Rovers have decided to use the option to buy the player for a minimal fee. King's time at the club had been due to end today after he was the only signing during Henning Berg's time at the club. It is Rovers' first move of the January transfer window and it may surprise many that they have made a signing before the appointment of a new manager.
