Gary Bowyer has named five changes to the side that drew on Good Friday, with Danny Murphy, Leon Best, Morten Gamst Pedersen, David Bentley and Colin Kazim-Richards all returning to the starting eleven. David Dunn and Jordan Rhodes move to the bench, while Williamson, King and Nuno Gomes all miss out through injury and illness.

Supporters will be unsurprised by the fact that changes have been made to a side only 72 hours after their last fixture, but the decision to drop Dunn and Rhodes and then reinstate Danny Murphy is unlikely to be a popular one.

Former Rovers striker Craig Bellamy, who had been missing through injury, returns to captain the Cardiff team.
