GreenRover Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Just wondering am I the only Irish Rovers heading over to Ewood this season. Presume there will be less following now in league One but I am buzzing for the season to start. Would love to know if there was a group that were heading over for any particular games when the fixtures come out. ?

AggyBlue Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 There's quite a few of you in the Emerald Isle, I'm sure you should be able to arrange a few trips together.

That is true. Went to Cork City a few years ago to see a pre season friendly between Blackburn Rovers and Cork City. There was quite a good Irish following there. There is a Irish supporters club also on Facebook. Just seeing if many head over to see a few games throughout the year
JonnyP Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 No il try get over a couple of times, my father lives in Lytham St.Annes (Blackpool) so il try and plan my visits when we hav a home game, he's gunna renew his season ticket. Yeah there's an odd one or two around, I bump into others from time to time.

I try to get over once a month mostly to home games as it's easy to get to/from Blackburn from Manchester & flights are not too bad if United are not at home. Most of the time fly in and out on same day. With most league one teams based around Manchester I should get to more aways this yr. August is a bit of mad month so probably won't get over until mid September. It would be to have a few more irish heading over
GreenRover Posted June 5, 2017 Author Posted June 5, 2017 Am living in Co. Clare so not many Blackburn Supporters around ere. It is handy as can fly from Shannon to Manchester. Have cousins living in Manchester so would love to avail of that more often. Would be great to meet up with a few fellow supporters for the journey and banter. Would love to get over for the first home game this year. Ewood is a top class stadium. Would be great to get the crowd back
