Let's not forget back in the third and struggling jack also paid the wages of Burnley for a month or two, funny how many they forget and sing about him isn't it.

No I like that, no matter how bad it gets as a Rover, the great man himself helped them. The Venkys can't take away that sort of history, neither can the dingles.

Would that be one of the 7k they used to have or one of the 10k they've recently acquired ?

Thing with the Dingles is that their lines of attack haven't changed in 25 years, so you'll still hear stuff like 'Wovers fans are bandwagon jumpers' etc without a hint of irony.

The fact that they were down to 8/9000 crowds when Dyche took over and now pull in 20k is conveniently ignored but proves that success (relative or otherwise) pulls in floating fans.

Don't know a lot about smallwood but Tm recognising the area players are most needed.

Hopefully the Turkish lad and few more as I think Mulgrew and linehan won't be here.

Roll 9 am never looked more forward to 9 am on a Wednesday

Another short term contractor with an average skill set wonder if chaddy can share with us what the deal was as per salary and agent's fee for the stakeholder to see if there's value in the move.

Burnley were promoted to the Prem with an average crowd of around 13,000 two Seasons ago....enough said.

To be fair to him a lot of Boro fans hold a long held resentment of Rovers over their game with us when half their team went down ill. I think they went down that season and its one of the excuses they bring up.

How was that our fault? If I remember correctly all Rovers asked was for us to be awarded the game, no points deduction - it was that deduction that relegated them. They should have turned up with the youth team and lost 5-0
