Stuart Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 A very welcome three points at a tough away ground. Only caught the last 15 minutes which looked very nervy but a result's a result and it's something to build on at least.
Backroom Tom Posted August 19, 2017 Backroom Posted August 19, 2017 Massive win when we needed it, finally something to try and build upon with a couple of home games coming up Surprised that Antonsson came on before Graham
Miker Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Full time. Excellent team performance, well done Rovers! We looked much better today without being brilliant. Nervy last few minutes, so very pleased that we held on. I think as the team settles down over the next few games, we'll see improved and more confident performances.
bigbrandjohn Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Phew. Glued to teletext. Too much mention of Kilgallon in injury time. Great AWAY win against a fancied team with a great home record last season.
perthblue02 Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Good win, but convinced more than ever that we do not have the players to play one up front

AAK Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Was always going to be nervy at the end for us there, but we did reasonably well and dealt with what they had to offer. Team looked far more solid, and the players on the pitch put in one eck of a shift, think we've found our starting 11 for away games at least, would still like to see two up front at ewood
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 19, 2017 Moderation Lead Posted August 19, 2017 Good win is that. Delighted for the travelling fans. Amazing what happens when we keep it simple and get rid of the daft formations!
neophox Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Big win !! Move on to next game and the season starts now!
Backroom DE. Posted August 19, 2017 Backroom Posted August 19, 2017 A much needed win, well done. Hopefully Mowbray has learnt his lesson.
blueboy3333 Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 The ToMonator returns! Just goes to show what you can do when you don't overcomplicate things and play square pegs in square holes. Great result for the 2k travelling fans.
Give 'Em the Axe Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Delighted, absolutely delighted. Thrilled for the away support, they were magnificent today. Too bloody right that the players acknowledged them at the end. Gonna think on the talking points later, but for now, a happy Saturday night. Good going.
yellowsubmarine Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 After the game, Mowbray got everyone to the middle of the pitch. Not a pretty performance in the last 15 mins, but i will take the 3 points.
Laurence Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I knw he wasn't on for long, but how did Antonsson look?

I can do stuff while I am carrying my phone around. I probably will bite the bullet once we are top 5 and I can't prune my hybrid teas anymore.?

JBiz Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Laughing inside at all the armchair experts who think that Tony took their advice... Remember, you'd only get a job in football if you had SEM representation. Truly buzzing again. Burnley lose, and we win. To the bar!
Fraserkirky Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Terrific away performance from the lads. What a difference a bit of fight makes. Evans and Smallwood where busy in midfield, and Ward and Mulgrew were excellent at the back, EXCELLENT. Bradford barely got a sniff. Samuel was much more effective than Graham, and Dack was clever before being subbed. excellent, so happy!
