Players don't have integrity anymore. I remember LeSaux getting that career threatening injury. We stood by him, paid for the best medical treatment going, nursed him back to form and the minute he was fully fit - he wanted to bugger off back to Chelsea. Good player but completely lacking in integrity and I'll tell him that to his face if I ever come across the creep.

And to think he was preferred to Bill Eckersley and Keith Newton as left back in the "Greatest Ever Rovers Team" as voted by members of this site.

Fair comment from the fans perspective.

And from the club/business perspective? Trear player as 'sunk cost' or help him to realise asset potential.

Sell to Chelsea for £5m after buying him for £700k.

Whether we like it or not, football done properly is good business.

Players will have bliwn off dingle loss as jusy a loss to a prem team.  Still feeling pleased with themselves about the win over Bradford.  Add to that Dacks injury and we have another excuse in these players minds.  I really expect another half hearted lacklustre display and another defeat,  Two gifts to them against one if our three shots on target going in.  2-1 to the team formerly known as the Wombles.

How long is some time? I thought he just picked up a knock?

According to http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/15488183.Rovers_to_be_without_Bradley_Dack_and_Darragh_Lenihan_for_Burnley_cup_clash/, he suffered a Grade 1 hamstring strain.

The poll was before my time. I don't remember Bill Eckersley but if I was voting now I'd have Newton at right back and LeSaux at left back inspite of the latter doing the dirty on us.

I've no idea what to expect other than what I read here.

MK Dons have been poor away from home this season, so because of that I'm going for a comfortable home win.

2-0 Rovers and we can look forward to a week of optimism, promotion talk and everything in the garden is coming up roses

And yet Mowbray described it as ' as mild as you can get'. Something just doesn't sit right with me and hasn't since the Southend debacle.

And we have been poor at home. Lost two and scored one goal whilst conceding five.

As with every aspect of the club, I think our medical team has been dramatically dumbed down over the years.  IMV, has been an issue for some time as to how long it takes to get players back from injury - in fact, we have seemed for a while to be far too prone to pulls and strains.  Something, somewhere is amiss.

The mad scientist is on about finding a 'formula' again. At least it's finally dawned on him that you need players who will run round for 90 minutes. Whatever happened to his 'artists' and 'soldiers' rhetoric. It's almost as if this division has been a shock to him.

After reading around some Gillingham stuff the general feelings regarding Dack last season or so was the old 'his head wasn't right' although a lot put it down to him sulking because he wanted a move.

Maybe not though it wouldn't be surprising if there isn't something else and just how many times have we been here before with Rovers in recent years. Mowbray signed this guy allegedly for a big fee then within a week or two he's going on record saying he's had talks with him about his lifestyle etc and he dropped him.

Pathetic.

"They are a big, strong, physical team. They are a dangerous team, yet they haven’t scored many goals. All of their games have been very tight, I’m not expecting anything too different from that. Historically they have always been in and around the top of the table, they got promoted a couple of years ago, and have obviously come back down, but they are a slick team. But we don’t really worry about the opposition, it’s about us and if we can perform at the intensity we need to, we will give them problems"

ToMo on not being worried:)
