philipl Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Am I being greedy in saying go on grab a 5th while we have MK Dons on the ropes?

RoverInverness Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I'd rather Oldham scored I think - we'd be up to 9th
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 We are capable of doing this to a lot of teams. Nothing to be scared of in this league.
philipl Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Walsall equalised v Bradford thank you very much!
philipl Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 OK happily take 4-1 FT result. Been a good day for Rovers all round.
Backroom DE. Posted August 26, 2017 Backroom Posted August 26, 2017 Just continue keeping it simple Tony, results will come. Great win. Huge confidence boost after losing midweek.
Gogger Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Good win against a side who didnt seem interessted in going forward even when behind. Not sure whos my man of the match, Mulgrew or Smallwood. I do wonder what qualities this Gladwin possesses...
perthblue02 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Encouraging performance, just hope we keep hold of Mulgrew
danger19_80 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Smallwood was excellent. Finally a Rovers player who can put a foot in in the middle of the park, albeit at this level.
danger19_80 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 We're obviously still a work in progress but at least we're now picking up results as Tony gells it all together.
Give 'Em the Axe Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Smashing win for us, with Wigan, Fleetwood, Bradford, and Oxford all dropping points.
AAK Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Shame we wont play until 09th September at Rochdale now, we will be a game behind, and likely a game behind every international weekend, so a lot of midweek games, Blackpool away probably be midweek now. No home game until 16th September after another away game at Scunthorpe.
Paul Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 That's a refreshing change. Positive win, positive atmosphere, a very good afternoon.
Mercer Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Thank goodness for that. At last we've done what we should be doing to most teams in this league - no coincidence it's with 442 ! Looking forward to spending my winnings this weekend! As Virgil said 'endure the present and watch for better things'.
booth Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Wish we were playing Fleetwood next week! Bloody international matches.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Made my day as usual when we win, especially what sounds to have been a comfortable win. I feared the worst after Wednesday but the lads have proved me wrong. From the reports it sounds like we started at a reasonably high tempo and we didn't let them get a foothold in the game as we usually do.

Miker Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Excellent performance, excellent win - can go to bed happy now. Smallwood would be MOM for me, if not for Mulgrew scoring 2 goals. Was winning tackles all over the park and spraying the ball around with ease. Really confident performance from him and made the whole team look better too. From the squad today, I would say only 3 players have their place under question. Antonsson - was involved in a lot of things, but just looked awful every time. Definitely would expect Graham to take his place next game, or Dack when he's fit. Conway - he did okay, but on Chapman's showing today, he deserves a chance to start in the next match. Ward - he generally looks like a capable centre back, but error prone and every game I worry he is going to do something stupid which will result in a goal.
