Husky Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 This is awful. Though I don't quite know what I was expecting.

Backroom Tom Posted September 16, 2017 Author Backroom Posted September 16, 2017 Losing against a team that can barely control a ball
Bigdoggsteel Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Looks like Conway shouldn't have started. With the options we have that shouldn't happen

G Somerset Rover Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Tin hat time. But we haven't been playing that well during this run. Just been resolute and taken chances when they've come our way. Therefore, expecting us to win 4-1 MK style will not happen every time at home. Back down to earth today I fear.
OJRovers Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Rovers need to turn this round. There's no right to win any game, but worth noting that Wimbledon's wage bill is 15 x smaller than Rovers.
Bigdoggsteel Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 We are losing at home to a team that didn't exist a few years ago, while Burnley are drawing away at Liverpool. Normal business as a rovers fan resumed
skous18 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 so we have 3more players that at least on paper can change the game but we have 2 more changes to make so is it gonna be Chapman and Graham or Graham and Whitingham
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 16, 2017 Moderation Lead Posted September 16, 2017 Very very poor half. Need some guile, craft or some pace to open them up second half. Could this be the game where Whittingham makes his mark?

AAK Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Sometimes Samuel doesn't even look like footballer. His positional sense is so poor, running out wide when there is a winger there, and then the winger gets the ball and he's not in the box waiting for the cross, his first touch is ridiculously bad and his passing is schoolboy like. Very hit and miss player
Gogger Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Feel like we need to play wider, with dack and bennet we are so narrow. Which results in Samuel and the Swede to play to wide and too deep. Maybe Samuel up front, Dack behind. And sub Swede for Chapman. Bennet left wing and Chapman right.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Not sure what we have learned this half that we didn't know. Conway and Ward should not be starting. To be fair to Antonsson, he's done ok this half. Midfield two have been poor. They are a good pairing away but no creativity in them. Worth trying Dack in there and we defo need Chapman on.
Give 'Em the Axe Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 That sinking feeling... Awful for the goal. Bad miss from Samuel when it was put on a plate for him. See how it goes in the second half, I suppose...
rhodie Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 So far we have had more of the ball, more shots, more corners and had to make less saves. Lets hope that we can get it in the back of the net at least once in the next half, I`m beginning to think this is going to be one of those days...

One of those games where we have a lot of the ball but do nothing with it.
Irishrover213 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Very bad 1st half. Ward nearly gave them a 2nd. Antonasson is working very hard. They look knackered very laboured. Hopefully a better 2nd half. 1st 10 mines will be crucial
Backroom Tom Posted September 16, 2017 Author Backroom Posted September 16, 2017 Actually think it's a good game for Whittingham, they will sit deep now and his class may shine through with a way to get through them
RevidgeBlue Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Doubt there's a less effective pair of wide men anywher in the League than Conway and Bennett. Atrocious. Dack on for the injured Conway may be a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately Smallwood and Evans are having stinkers as well so feel sorry for the 2 frontmen who havent had any service. Need Chapman on for Bennett asap.
des Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 played okist the ball is not being held up front lets hope that changes snd half

I'd love for him to play well, but I'd be sketchy about subbing him on given how underwhelming he was in the first two home games.

perthblue02 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Just replayed the goal , 3 defenders within a couple of metres of the Wimbledon goalscorer (only womble in the box)and another three a tad further away and conway is getting the blame for losing the ball near the halfway line?
