If he might not even go on loan while we work on his fitness and conditioning, the u-23s are about to be ridiculous.

Absolutely over the moon with Chappers coming back as long as he hasn't been brought in simply  to sit on the bench or go out on loan.

Once match fit, could you imagine Chapman and BA in tthe starting line up? We'd look a completely different proposition and the play offs wpuld become a realistic possibility as opposed to a bit of a pipe dream.

Obviously whether this is a good signing will depend on his fitness. I fear that he will always be prone to hamstring injuries.

However - what a player to have on the bench. His cameos last season were outstanding - if he can repeat we will have a star on our hands.

He's not gonna be match fit is he, doesn't LOOK in awful shape though, bit skinny if anything but he was never muscle bound. He'll be good for a few cameos before ya know it

According to his interview in the LT, he's fit! He seems genuinely happy to be back, said really positive things about our club, and I wish him well. Young, time to heal, I'm sure TM will nurse him. Impact sub, step up to the PL next season!

For the season? He has played games for Boro this season - recently in fact. Is he fit to be starting regularly? Perhaps not but come on man, no need to put a dampener on this.

Very smart man management by Mowbray. Reassures the side which slaughtered Hull, keeps Conway hopeful and throws down a challenge to Chapman.

Pulis always kept Stoke players whippet fit if I remember correctly so I doubt he is doing any different at Boro. That said the medical staff might have a different view on conditioning to avoid injuries.
