It’s up to them, but can’t be good for you if you want to operate at optimum levels… It's to be hoped Pears' driving is better than his goalkeeping! 3 Quote

bluebruce Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 (edited) I hope the next manager isn't happy to sign players that won't move closer to the club and prefer to commute stupid distances at the cost of their energy and fitness. I don't remember this ever happening on this scale before, usually just the odd player. Since Mowbray was also doing it himself, he probably had no issue with it. It's far from ideal for the manager but certainly shouldn't be happening with the lads who actually have to run every day. If you want to work here you really shouldn't be living more than say, an hour away within a few months of signing. If that's not good enough we shouldn't sign you (exceptions to every rule of course). Edited May 13, 2022 by bluebruce Quote

JohnD Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 I think it would take more than a house.move to make Chapman useful 🤣 Quote
tomphil Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 If they'd given a free house in Brockhall he'd still have legged it back to the boro to go on the pish. Waste of space. Quote

Mattyblue Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 So that’s another even lower league he’s dropped into, will the penny? Quote

Mattyblue Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 No, but he could still make something of himself. Trundling on the pitch a stone overweight isn’t going to help… Quote
