BenRTID Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I have to say, this current squad 'feels' like bunch of lads who are actually willing to play for each other and put a shift in. During the past 5+ years it has been evident that many (not all) players were simply there to collect their over-inflated weekly wage on their way through Blackburn Rovers. I'm not sure if the current age of social media is helping connect the players to the fans, and in-turn, give the fans a feeling for behind the scenes but you only need to flick through Instagram, for example, and you'll see the daily love affair of Bradley Dack and Dominic Samuel clowning about during the daily commute to training whilst car-sharing.....or Harry Chapman and Danny Graham doing the same! Earlier today Chapman posted a picture absolutely ripping Richie Smallwood's flowery shirt...funny!! Overall, lots and lots of banter which can't ever be a bad thing. Translate that to on-pitch performances and whilst we are far from convincing, these hard fought 'body on the line' dogged performances to grind out results (0-1 away to Bradford & Scunthorpe / late equaliser at Shrewsbury) would almost certainly have been draws/defeats last season.

Bigdoggsteel Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Ya, I have seen the videos also. I would prefer to see the players mix a bit more if I am honest. A few clicks forming by the looks of it. Same at all clubs I suppose.
