Probably the easiest and cheapest away game of the season for fans from the Blackburn area.

Blackburn to Preston 35 mins - Preston to Wigan 11 minutes - The worse part is walking to the ground from Wigan station, often in the rain, often p1ssed!

Can't ever remember paying either as the trains are packed full of Rovers fans and the conductor can't get round.

The away end will be rocking, should sell well over the 3000 we took to Oldham even with the short selling time, just hope the lads can produce the goods for the travelling hordes.

If you get the Blackburn-Preston train that doesn't stop at Mill Hill, Cherry Tree, Bamber Bridge etc. and goes direct, think it's only 15 mins.

Think we'll have 2 to 3k at this but no more, still a good following but not a new ground a very often visited one and not as easy access on the train for all the day trippers on the pish as Rochdale / Oldham/Bury etc so a lot might swerve it and save their cash for another day.

Shame as the magnitude of the game should see it nearly full but what the hell were they playing at with the tickets ?  Shocking effort by both clubs so no one can be surprised when far less than you'd expect turn up.

Bump !

Just over 2k sold

Hopefully be about 3 thousand come the day which is a pretty standard following over there and a decent effort but a little disappointing given the hype of our followings this season.  Still 27 quid on the day is steep for league 1 football and I trust they'll have to pay the same at Ewood, bloody well should do.

Wigan will bring at best 2,000 to Ewood even if they are going well for promotion. With that in mind we should allocate them the Darwen End upper tier and charge £27 a ticket. Nothing at all to stop us doing that, yet you watch it will be the same as home fans and at least £5 cheaper than at their place.
