AdamRochina Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Was gonna watch the game now I'm not gonna bother
booth Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 One player sets up a goal, one scores a goal. He drops both.
Waggy76 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 cant go today but he is frightened of the opposition , I had a gut feeling he would drop Chapman.. Defeat , I am afraid . hope to be proved wrong ¬
Mercer Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Wow, just don't get dropping of Graham and Chapman. Still got a gut feel about a Rovers' win and stuck a modest bet on at 7/2 earlier in week. Was going to bang more on today subject to line up but not now.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 That's a crap selection. No way we win this. The ball will not be retained up front.
Gav Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Graham can think himself unlucky not to start, but aside from that the side spot on for us playing away from home against the league leaders where we'll potentially spend plenty of time without the ball, so no point playing Chapman and another striker. Still going for a draw, so is Tony.

I expected a drubbing but this line up confirms Tony is scared of other teams
bigbrandjohn Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Antonsson runs around a bit more which is what we will need to start the game and Conway has the bit between his teeth and works hard to cover I have seen worse line ups and he still has the options on the bench. It does my head in to think we are in the position of being spooked out playing Wigan. Such is life.
davulsukur Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 TM was always going to drop Chapman for this game. Didn't think he would drop Graham though. A loss and it will all come back onto him.
Hasta Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Dropping Chapman for Conway makes the side more static. He's then had to drop Graham to make us a bit more mobile.
G Somerset Rover Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Leeds fans all told us that Antonsson can not play up top on his own - he doesn’t have the strengths to play the role. It’s just going to keep coming back at us all day long.

When did he ever win the ball back off an opposing defender ? Would you be shaking in your boots having to mark him ? I wouldn't be. Mowbray has set us up not to lose so I expect the cavalry to be brought on when the damage has been done and it's too late.
JacknOry Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Interestingly, Nuttall still cannot make the bench with Samual suspended.

OJRovers Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 £27 to watch your best player warm up on the touchline. Mowbray will be rightly criticised if it doesn't go well with the starting line up.
Pedro Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 He's not up front on his own is he? He's got Dack up there playing as a 10. Decent team, mustn't lose and we all know that Chapman can deliver off the bench. Fingers crossed.
Husky Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Must win game for those that think we are still in the automatic promotion hunt. A draw or defeat means that we will be in the mix for top 6 at best. I suspect we'll go for a bore draw and lose. Mowbray is too negative for automatic promotion. Team set up to draw and 2-1 to Wigan.
blueboy3333 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Playing a bloke up front on his own who can't hold up the ball is lunacy...especially as we may resort to hoofing it when they put us under pressure.

jim mk2 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Mowbray overthinks things. Football when it's played well is a simple game. .

It's not a case of 'manning up' if everybody drops deep because that's how Mowbray has set the team up. If you drop deep you have to have someone up front who can get hold the ball. Antonsson is the worst player I've seen in a long time at holding it up.
skous18 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 will they stream the game somewhere and thats some poor desicion from mowbray to play antonssone
