Blackpool/Oystons

Recommended Posts

Going back to Hendry's time as manager there he was paying stuff out of his own pocket like overnight stays before away games and post match meals and stuff because they were having packed lunches on the bus and the like.

Proper shower the Oystons you can bet they weren't eating boiled ham butties post match !

I didnt Bowyer was paying for training facilities.

I knew he was close to Sunderland job

After reading some articles on the Blackpool gazzette website that I suggest he left due to a player being sold and not being allow to invest in the squad

Well if Bowyer was paying for the training facilities more fool him, thats what the managers and players union are for, he should have gone to them, also says a lot about his pay off from the Rovers, unless your minted even a non league manager wouldn't pay for training. In other words he did bloody well out of us.

He got the money back from the club

I imagine OC has already sent in his Yosser Hughes 'Giz a Job' application.

Grayson has already distanced himself, Appleton recently said he can't risk a bad choice, Olly is mental but not stupid ...... and I really would not wish a used Coil on anyone.

A poster on Back Henry Street said the odds are crazy, they should start at 999/1 up to infinity.

Find that hard to believe when he was writing to the EFL about Blackpool’s issues.

Was he?

It's got Coyle written all over it this one.

I agree. Think Blackpool will find to get a decent manager

Only one man for that job and already dresses like FKW clown from Blackpool circus, will do it cheap, never heard of agents, lives 40 mins away and will dispence with fancy pasta dishes and pick up the doughnuts from the sea front on the way in instead and probably pay for them.

Watching with interest........

The only ones who would go near that job are those who have nothing to lose or are absolutely desperate for a job in management. The likes of Grayson, Nolan, Appleton and Cowley have decent enough reputations to get jobs elsewhere. Especially Grayson and Appleton who have worked for Oyston before and know how he operates.

That's where the likes of Coyle come in because he likely knows by now that he isn't going to get anything any better and has no such pride.

Looking at that list there is only one outstanding candidate

Isn't Grayson at Bradford ?? Be surprised if he left there for Blackpool !!

His short-term contract at Bradford ended in May. I think he turned down a new contract offer saying he wanted a break from management. Doesn't need Blackpool on his CV again.

(Outstanding Candidate = Owen Coyle, OC = OC, the penny finally drops!!)
