Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 24, 2018 Moderation Lead Posted April 24, 2018 I think it was at Nottingham Forest away last season we sang his name to the tune of Chaka Khan- Ain’t nobody.... Quote

BlackburnEnd75 Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 We've not really got that many songs for individual players which is a shame. Bennett and Raya could do with their own song. Dack and Graham could do with better ones! Quote
blueboy3333 Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 I've still no idea what the Dack one is and I've heard it countless times. It's shyte. Quote

The original song is a banger as well, this is the tune if you didn't know it. Dack tune is too the chorus. There's a tune? And which is the chorus? Banger must have meant some 'ert different when I were t'lad. Stock Aitken and Waterman did better shizzle than that up Peps in the late 80's. Quote
ChrisPriceBaldSpot Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 I reckon the old Harry Chapman one could be changed for Arma for the last few games. Quote

I actually really like that song we should use it more. Quote

TBH I was exactly the same as you. I had no idea there was actually a tune to it until Butty's post. I think the issue, as with most songs at Ewood these days, is that there seems to be a race to get to the end of the song. Every song is sung at breakneck speed for some reason (I have an idea why) so no-one has a chance of picking up either the words or the tune. I bet half the players don't even know they have a song! Anyway, I think I've sussed it and, if sung with some sort of tune and at 45 not 78 (showing my age there), it's actually not too bad. Listen to the tune from about 1.04 in and the words do actually fit! Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 24, 2018 Moderation Lead Posted April 24, 2018 The tune thing is the big problem with the Smallwood song. Many don't seem to know Earth Wind and Fire- September (if that's you, you're missing out, it's a banger!) It's played before kick-off every game as well.. Quote

Listen I love my 80s more than most but this is also a BANGER Quote

LewisF Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Mowbray is magic, he wears a magic hat, And when he saw promotion he said “I’m having that” We used to cheer on Shearer with Hendry at the back But now we cheer on Mulgrew and super Bradley Dack 6 Quote

Helmshore blue Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Isnt it about time we put some new words to ‘Barmy Army Swing’ Quote
Drover Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 (edited) As someone who hasnt been able to get to a match for circa 12 months I was impressed yesterday by the number of new songs (to me). Seems like league 1 has made us a bit more creative! What was the dack one? Something about tinder. Couldn't quite work it out. Was it to the same tune as Smallwood's?
