The fact that people are enjoying going to the Rovers again, leads them to join in with songs and people become more enthusiastic for new songs. For me the main upside is the amount of pro Rovers songs and less emphasis  on anti other teams, songs.

Been a long time since there was a post in here (apologies mods if there is a more recent thread).

Plenty of new players (and a manager) since 2018 to get some more imaginative chants going. Quite like the Gallagher one…two of our current star men below definitely deserve their own song!

She’s Electric and Supersonic (both Oasis) - Newcastle fans sing the first one for Joelinton so not the most imaginative, but fits well for our new Icelandic beast.

@SBlue I struggled for the first line and syllables in the second line of this…so any alternatives are much appreciated (can also go in the bin too) - but I always prefer it when we have a 2nd verse so the chant doesn’t fizzle out
