Suspect its another one of those weird false dawn moments that we've seen so many times in the past under this regime. There's clearly something in it as there's no smoke without fire and someone somewhere along the chain has clearly been leaking information out that this is happening.

We've had it so many times with managers supposedly being up for the chop, potential new board members waiting in the wings, much needed restructuring etc. and then it all dies down quickly and nothing actually happens and on the show goes.

Presumably someone in the chain of command is keen to appoint this bloke and has held discussions with him but for whatever reason can't get final approval to bring him in.

Install in Jan and sell a player or two then sign a couple of loans from a mate. If we miss promotion of play offs then sack and pay off in May.

CEOs fault we didn't go up not Paschas or Venkys.

I'm all for appointing the right guy we need it but that's where it all falls down with this lot it's either a powerless puppet or someone with their own little agenda in mind.

It's hard to say it but since the accountants went in and there seems to be some kind of plan and minimal reinvestment it's been relatively calm. Doing ok not great but ok.

Absolutely. So perhaps he would be open to it and sometimes people may put the word out that they want to move for non football reasons too. That article was dated in October.
