Lihamylly Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Come brothers, gather around me to pray. Let's pray for Charlie and Richie not get injured tonight. Let em also have fresh legs and clear head coming weekend when we face Charlton.

darrenrover Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 If we win and Mulgrew and Smallwood come out unscathed then fair enough. If not and the knives will be out. Tomo at least shows he has some gonads. Hope we win and tear the Addicks a new one on Saturday. COYB!!!
RV Blue Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Mulgrew categorically should not be playing tonight, whether we win or lose that is an absolutely awful decision Mowbray, especially when we've got a good young player in Wharton on the bench. Perfect example of why I don't think he's up to it, he is thick.

I suppose Harper has to play but he's a lucky boy in my book. If we were really going for it Dack and Samuel should be playing as well. As it is we've gone half and half. Maybe he asked the senior pro's who wanted to play and some of them held their hands up.

Cherry Blue Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Ng behave yourself! Your antics are partly to blame for this replay.
blueboy3333 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Mowbray obviously is expected to win, hence the strong-ish team. It is the FA Cup after all, it would be wrong to play all kids, and wrong on the Rovers fans who travelled to watch. COYB!

He did ok against Rotherham although it was only a brief cameo, looked poor in his other appearances and like I Said at the time it was a strange signing considering Jack Doyle is meant to be rated. But Harper isn't a wide player and he belongs to another club

Roverthechimp Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Would have rested Mulgrew but that said if Mulgrew really wants to play then ok - at least we have a proper captain on the pitch. Hopefully 3 up after 60 mins and put Wharton on...
Gav Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 All this dropping players nonsense is nonsense. We're a 3rd division side looking for a bumper pay day in the next round not a Premiership club that couldn't care less.

I can't see it being a bumper pay day but it's not a game we should be turning our noses up at. If we do get through playing Hull will be a good test of our progress.

Roverthechimp Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 If the BBC can be trusted then neither side has managed a shot yet
islander200 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Listening on radio, Harper is having a poor game according to Bayes and Gallagher, just been booked
islander200 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Graham hits the crossbar with a terrific effort
JacknOry Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Have to agree with those it's an unnecessary risk to play Mulgrew - arguably our best player and the captain. Bumper payday at hull? (A laugh in itself) or risk losing a vital guy to our promotion aim? Smallwood I can understand with injuries we have but I'd ideally rest him too
darrenrover Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Harper clearly lacks something between his ears.
