Ladyboys of Bank Top Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 (edited) Batshuayi had more chances in 20 minutes than England had in 90 mins against Tunisia. Edited June 23, 2018 by Ladyboys of Bank Top Quote
roversfan99 Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 I think would I be right in saying, on the big assumption that Brazil top their group and Germany finish runner up in theres, that if we was to win our group and then in the last 16, we'd face the winner of that game in the quarters, whereas if we was to be runner up in our group, we'd again likely, big ifs included, play Mexico or Switzerland. Can see Thursday being a reserve team game if that does work out like that. Group H is a much of a muchness really, best team in there is Colombia and look how they did. Its coming home... Quote
roverandout Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 England and belgium will be playing 'you have the ball..no you have the ball' 1 Quote
Husky Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Not wanting to continue the Belgium love-in. But Tunisia could easily have scored 5 today. As for the permitations of who we might play further down the line. I wonder if anyone in the England camp ever thinks about things like that. Obviously Sven didn't as seen in his infamous play for a draw game that subsequently saw us face Brazil in the afternoon heat. Quote

Giant Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Mexico’s fans are fantastic, reminds me of the Rovers on tour last season. Quote
Audax Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Mexico's doing okay, after defeating the World Champions, I think a bit of a letdown. World Cup champions have lost fairly frequently their opening game. Probably because an opponent has about 7 months to contemplate and prepare getting on the pitch and playing against them. Quote
Audax Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 (edited) I'll go with the Swedes to draw...Upset Edited June 23, 2018 by Audax Quote
Husky Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Mexico are certainly looking a lot more ordinary today. Still in the balance at 1-0. Quote
Audax Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Korea scores, some minutes left... South Korea's first goal of the tournament I believe....2-1, 94th minute. Quote
roverandout Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Has anyone ever come across a more miserable pundit than roy keane? Humorless twonk Quote
Backroom DE. Posted June 23, 2018 Backroom Posted June 23, 2018 Another blatant foul missed by VAR. I like the idea of the system but these inconsistencies will kill it. 1 Quote
Claytons Left Boot Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Germany just got away with what should have been a clear penalty to Sweden. Not even looked at via VAR. A blatant shove in the back. 2 Quote
roverandout Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Its germany..musnt give a penalty against them..cowards Quote

Backroom DE. Posted June 23, 2018 Backroom Posted June 23, 2018 Just now, Oldgregg86 said: Martin O'Neill is not far behind him. Absolute stone wall penalty for Sweden. Can't believe that hasn't been referred Tbf this is the same system that decided Kane being speared to the ground and Mitrovic being tag team slammed into the floor weren't penalties, so this was pretty tame in comparison. Claytons Left Boot Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 German lad just got a proper (accidental) kick in the mush. Blood streaming out of his nose. Full credit to him as he just lay there waiting for treatment. 99.99 % of footballers would have rolled over several times, faces etched in agony. Quote
Claytons Left Boot Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Justice (so far) for the Swedish eleven.. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted June 23, 2018 Backroom Posted June 23, 2018 Wow. As it stands Germany are going out! Quote
roverandout Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Germans always get that bit of luck that we dont..you just know they will get back into it..cant stand the germans 1 Quote
bob fleming Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Those two bets I had on Germany to win the thing and Timo Timmy Timbo Werner to be top scorer might be in a bit of jeopardy. Oh well! Quote
roverandout Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 When a ball goes out for a goal kick..that same ball should be used..you shouldnt be allowed to use a different ball..germany nearly scored from one on the counter Quote
wolfie Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Anyone know what colour England are playing in tomorrow? Quote
