Just shows how your keeper has to be 100%. A bit of dodgy goalkeeping and Belgium were suddenly right back in it and then well in the driving seat.

Look at that goalkeeping by Japan, Kawashima, win or lose, their effort and commitment has to earn them a lot of respect......against Panama I believe, it took Belgium a while to turn the jets on..... they are getting the better of play now, but we will see. This match has gone in waves.....

Japan really showing their rank naivity there. Absolutely ridiculous to try lobbing those high corners in. They got what they deserved in the end.

You have to feel for the Japanese, they were immense, defended superbly for most of the game without sitting at the edge of the box. In fairness I think their legs had gone and they would have lost it in extra time and that's why they took a chance with the corner.

I know it's better that Belgium go through for all sorts of reasons but the sight of Fellaini celebrating is, in itself, a reason for me to wish Japan had put them out.
