He needs to wean himself back off it. He's so chilled he's practically horizontal!

From where you live I would say the easiest is up the M62 and down the M1. Weather should be mild so no snow problems on high ground.

Gav Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Don't know about anyone else, but I'm really looking forward to the game tomorrow. Train at 9am, meeting a few off here for pre-match ale n burgers! Safe journey to all the fans travelling down, another tremendous following especially with the time of year, let's hope the players do us proud. Venkys Out Abbey in
rossyrover Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Got to win tomorrow to keep the pressure on Wigan and Shrewsbury come on Rovers.
ChrisPriceBaldSpot Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Anyone know whether or not you can get a beer inside the ground unlike at Peterborough?

The Walter Tull & Sixfields Tavern up the hill are always rammed. The bowling place is quieter and people do drink there. Real Ale fans should head to the Malt Shovel in town or the Albion Brewery - the local Phipps brewery. Both near Carlsberg brewery ironically. Theyre about a ten minute car ride away (maybe 20 minutes with rugby and shopping traffic to contend with). The Sevens opposite Franklins Gardens is ok but Saints at home it caters for rugby fans so likely to be rammed also. I'm sure there will be bars/food behind the away stand that you can access once inside the ground so you can drink there. The Official South gravel car park is £4 just behind the away stand or there is a grass car park just behind that for £3 which is easier to get out of. Don't get to the ground too late or you'll be stuck queuing behind the rugby boys 4x4's. For the poster above
philipl Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znVkQKq-pDc Apart from their roller coaster '60s and accompanying us down in 1965/6, this is my recollection of Northampton Town... The TV camera position was on temporary scaffolding erected just off the cricket square. If Rovers start high tempo, we should be OK for notching another win.
Doug Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 C'mon Rovers, let's keep the run going. A win should hopefully see more of us on Ewood on Boxing Day. Merry Christmas to Rovers fans everywhere.
Gav Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 First impressions of the ground - Its not finished. But the good news is if you're quick and nip down, you can watch from the hill at the side, a smaller version of our hill
Husky Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Why the early kick-off? Is it to cut one hour of Xmas drinking time?

An early goal and then smash them on the break. 1-2. COYB.
Giant Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Samuel probably I’ll from driving Bradley Dack around doing the carpool karaoke!
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Disappointed Tomlinson isn't starting. Other than that with Bennett still being suspended it more it less picks itself. I'm sorry but I see us only getting a draw today.
roversfan99 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 That bench is horrendous. Lets hope we dont need it.
blueboy3333 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 N'ton have got some pretty decent players who could cause us problems. I didn't know Lewis McGugan was there and Dingle Long is a good striker at this level. Grimes can play a bit too. Will be a tougher game than their league position suggests.
