Let’s hope we are wrong and this isn’t yet another Nelsen, Samba, Dann, Hanley. Mulgrew going would be extremely bad for fan and team morale alike. Just shows really how thin our squad is in terms of quality.
Miker Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 We've completely switched off since the goal. Looking dire right now. We look disjointed at the back without Mulgrew. Whittingham, Dack and Graham have been really poor today. I forgot Graham was even on for a while..

AAK Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Not really much he can do to change it looking at bench, Samuel for graham for something different that's about it, Wharton for Ward but he won't do that

Backroom Tom Posted December 23, 2017 Backroom Posted December 23, 2017 Not there but it sounds abysmal like we aren't even looking likely Samuel isn't on the bench AAK

Hasta Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 I'm only going off commentary but I'd swap Ward for Wharton at HT.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 TM needs to get into ‘em at half time. Need a draw minimum here. Seems like they’ve had one almighty hangover from their Dublin party - a couple have picked up illnesses and the rest playing like duffers.

It's amazing how many people comment here without reading what others have posted eg line ups etc

You didn't answer who was playing well?
Gogger Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Ward is just awfull. So poor in the air considering his size. I would take any bet that if Ward and Whittingham imposed as turtles and participated in an 800 meter turtle relay, they would not stand on the podium.
AAK Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 I would get Tomlinson on, as this is turning into a scrap of a game, and Tomlinson will like that kind of game, also seems to do more with the ball than whittingham. I would give Harper a go for Conway, just because Conway looks so poor.

yellowsubmarine Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 looking at the bench, i really dont see anyone who can come on and change the game, maybe only Nuttall. I still feel we have at least a goal in our side. Wharton needs to come on for Ward. We cant afford a red here.

Boroblue Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 It’s like a re run of Oldham.Ward can’t play football. Whittingham can’t tackle or play an incisive pass.To use the old joke he’s barber shop short back and sideways. The only thing that could make it worse is if jack Byrne appears for them in the second half
Blueandwhitemike Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 In the corner of the screen when they scored Williams was on the floor and the got up pleading, another Rover, to the ref like Pierre had pushed him. We've not been that bad going forward and created a good few chances and blocked shots, Graham and Dack have both been lively, though it's true we've not been great and we do look vulnerable at the back. With both centre-backs on yellows now and Ward not looking great I wouldn't be surprised to see a change, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Nuttall in a little while. It's been scrappy and they've had as many chances but we are still well in the game.

Sorry mate Wacist. You don't have to read anything, but it helps when people do as it stops repetition and pointless questions.
AAK Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 We need one of them 10 minute bursts that we have been famous for this season
