tomphil Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Seems he's resigned from the training ground owning company and been appointed to Venkys London the club owning one. 1 Quote

wilsdenrover Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 He’d have to move - he’s currently based in India. Quote

PLJPB Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 Well that was a short appointment. Or just another administration cock-up? Quote
tomphil Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 I get very uneasy when stuff like this starts going on just when things are going well. Just highlights either more staggering incompetence or lunacy. Or both. 2 Quote
Norbert Rassragr Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 I know. We've had so many kicks in the knackers you can't help expecting another Shebby Singh situation. Quote
philipl Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 When there is such a sort term appointment of a director, it is usually because there is a need to get a particular board resolution forced through by the majority shareholder. Or perhaps there was a misunderstanding/ mess up and the wrong company secretarial paperwork was filed- it does happen you know. 2 Quote
BlueXIII Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 Everything around Venkys is so unclear and uncertain... Quote

Gordon Gekko Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) The Registration of Overseas Entities ruling brought in by the Government last year. Any overseas entity that holds any property or land in the UK, or is planning to hold any property or land in the UK in the future, had to submit an application to Companies House before the deadline of 31st January, confirming the beneficial owners of the entity. Being from Jersey and working in Real Estate, we had to submit a shed load of the registrations, was a pain in the arse! Going back to Rovers, is this the entity that bought the training ground? or was that another company? Coming to think of it, don’t the Venky’s own a mansion in Cheshire? Gary Neville’s old gaff?
