joey_big_nose Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Controversial comment... Everything about Rhodes' career post rovers shows his critics to be right. He's a modest championship player in every regard apart from his finishing.

robbojohnno Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Oztumer scored a hatrick today for Walsall and has impressed me with his performances and goal return the last 2 seasons. He's tiny in stature but has unbelievable technical ability and is on a free transfer in summer. Well worth a look at whatever division we are in next year.

He's a number 10 though, we have a better one there already.
robbojohnno Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 When Payne goes back from loan we will need another option. If he can't get in the team we can always sell him for a tidy profit.
Backroom Tom Posted March 3, 2018 Backroom Posted March 3, 2018 I was disappointed when we didn't sign Otzumer but I can't imagine he would have done more than Dack has done. He'd be great as another option but can't imagine he'd be keen on that
roversfan99 Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 You'd never be able to effectively have them on the pitch at the same time so it wouldnt make sense.
roversfan99 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Random one but Notts County are being linked in Sunday papers with Diego Capel, for 10k a week plus 5k per game played. Quick, former Spanish international left footed winger and only 30 apparently, surely we could attract him here, he would be an amazing signing.

I''d wager he is looking for a payout.

Surely if he was worth a go, better clubs than Notts County would be involved?

He was non-existent when he came to Ewood, but he is obviously a talented lad. Be interesting to see if he could step up into the Championship.
FGS5635 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Not sure we can accommodate anymore small players. We are a very small team now, so adding a fully fledged midget is going to make that worse

Bigdoggsteel Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 How much is Dack worth lads? Imagine him in a really strong dominant team. I reckon he will go for 15 million at some point , if not more.. He has a nasty battling streak combined with a savage football brain. We have ourselves a real talent.

Dominant enough to be top of the league?

FGS5635 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 How many dominant teams are there. English football is competitive at all levels really. I'd say 1 loss in 30ish games is pretty dominant however you slice it

Problem is if we don't go up I can see him leaving for £3m or so
chaddyrovers Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 EVERTON’S young striker Bassala Sambou is wanted by Tony Mowbray at Blackburn. The German-born 20-year-old, could join Rovers in the summer and will, hopefully, enjoy Championship football at Ewood. Powerful Sambou played for Mowbray at Coventry when he was a kid before moving to Goodison. He could switch on loan or even for cash. Blackburn sent a delegation last week to watch the player, who seems unlikely to figure in Everton’s Premier League plans for next season. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/5775792/chelsea-transfer-news-matej-delac/
Neal Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Watching Ox v Scuny Lad called Adelakun looks a good player, out of contract end of the season. 21 y/o and won young player of the month in December. Textbook Rovers signing.
Oldgregg86 Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 He's still raw but brimming with potential. I prefer the Holmes lad on the other side. Ivan toney has held the ball up well. Possible replacement for an aging Danny graham ?

Moments of brilliance but can pass him by... In a better team perhaps..
