Rather generous contract considering his past struggles and he's only been here briefly but it's long enough to see if he will turn out any good, over to him now to repay the faith !

Three years on  league 1 wages is better than 3 on Championship wages. When you consider the wages of Murphy and the ilk that had no interest - this is peanuts really. he has potential anyway.

Yes good point at least you'd hope they've not thrown 10k pwk at him for three years hit or miss !  Or 35 grand per week of course

So Mowbray has been speaking about Bell in his press conference today. Saying that it isn't the player holding the deal up and that all the personal stuff is agreed with him.

Wonder what the hold up could be then?

Fleetwood must have accepted the bid, the player has apparently agreed everything - are we waiting on Venky time again?

I think it'll be completed tomorrow afternoon after the deadline for Saturdays game has passed.

I don't think so,because Rosler said they had accepted our bid.

The plot thickens

Fleetwood are trying to stop him playing against them.

Yep I think it's likely the deal goes through tomorrow afternoon with him unable to play for or against us this weekend

I find that strange as it would only take a verbal agreement from both parties that if sold he don't play, simple ,its been done before and  can even be part of the contract

It can't be part of the contract for a permanent deal and verbal may not be enough to convince Fleetwood

Good that Nuttall has signed to protect our investment, but he needs to show a better attitude than he did in his last game where he seemed disinterested.

Potentially worth loaning out to League 2.

According to Nixon that Henegan lad we wanted in summer and went to Sheff United is now leaving Sheffield United, maybe we got lucky and Downing is better
