JacknOry Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 This guy is quality and will be a big reason for us going up automatically if we manage it. Would be great if we could somehow get him on the books permanently. 3 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted March 10, 2018 Backroom Posted March 10, 2018 Brilliant finishing recently, deadly with his pace to get him into the positions Quote
Backroom DE. Posted March 10, 2018 Backroom Posted March 10, 2018 Well done for bringing him in, TM. Really good signing. 2 Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 How much would this guy cost? Hard to call. 3 million at a minimum I'd say. Maybe we can get him on loan next year again Quote
gumboots Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 That depends on a number of factors out of our control though. Do his parent club want to sell? Does he want to join us? What league will we be asking him to play in? How much will he cost? And JAL's favourite "who's his agent " to name but a few 1 Quote
FGS5635 Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 The price goes up evey week. Im not sure we can afford him now Another season on Loan is probably our best hope Quote
Mattyblue Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Two years left on his contract, would cost a small fortune, you would imagine. Season long loan could be a goer though... 1 Quote

gumboots Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 I did say to name but a few as a catch all! ☺ Quote

Fair play to him. Edited March 12, 2018 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
gumboots Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 So was Shearer but we still did well out of him Quote

And it might happen, though a lot depends on where Newcastle are, managers and owners' thoughts and asking price. 2 Quote
Pedro Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Don't forget it's irrelevant how long his contract lasts, he isn't available for a Bosman due to his age, so there will be a fee even when his contract is up. Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 If Newcastle go down, I'd say he will start for them next season. If they stay up, we may have a chance of getting him on loan again. 2 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted March 27, 2018 Backroom Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) As someone who’s had doubts about the manager at times this is great to hear: "For me he's a really good man manager, he speaks to his players all the time and lets us know what's going on and you can also go to him with any problems," said Armstrong. "On the training pitch he's very intense and, like I said, it seems to be working. He gets his thoughts across well and we all understand what he wants. Everyone is working hard for him and the fans. "Obviously I know him from Coventry but I've come here and I'm playing games and doing well and that's the main thing. A lot of people forget I'm still only 21, so the amount of games I've already played is massive for me going forward in my career. Edited March 27, 2018 by Tom 1 Quote

Toto1504 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Adam loves Mogga ...has total respect for him and I'd reckon he'll be at Rovers next season on a season long loan at the very least playing in an attacking and ambitious team unlike his spells at Barnsley and Bolton. Personally I don't think he's going to get his chance to lead the line in a toon top.Hed be better staying with Mowbray and proving all the doubters wrong . Get tired of hearing Newcastle fans saying ...he's found his level in league 1.Utter bollocks he's 21 years old. He's a natural born goalscorer!! 4 Quote
