He's gone a bit too early as well. Must not have been listening to her closely enough...........? It's your fault Rev: you should have kept your mouth shut! Quote

Maybe we might see 4-4-2 more often now IF Dack is out for a long period. But with our usual formation, Holtby has to be Dack's replacement. Edited December 23, 2019 by Swanson Quote
rigger Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 This injury to Dack may force TM into playing Gallagher and Breteton I am not saying it will work but at least give it a try. Quote

Between them they cost close to 20x what we paid for Dack You would bloody hope that it works. Quote
philipl Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Here's hoping Bradley's injury is not as bad as it looked. A full and speedy recovery whatever it is. 1 Quote

Amo Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 For the next game, I'd go Gallagher/Graham with Holtby and Rothwell as our "front four" Armstrong's pace makes him a useful impact sub. Quote

Not just for his play on the ball but for those goals where he just happens to be in the right place at the right time. 2 Quote

Bringing on Gallagher for Armstrong was the wrong move. Arma was right to come off but it should have been Bennett who replaced him. Gallagher plays as a centre forward or not at all imho. Quote

We have to be realistic, by next season we may have to. Edited December 23, 2019 by rigger 1 Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Wonder if dacks injury impacts our January transfer targets. Can’t say we don’t have time to react as per last year days into February Quote

Personally I would not be looking to go in for a Dack replacement. I think we have enough. As @chaddyrovers said earlier we need a new gk, lb and cb. 2 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I really hope he's not out for long. He's our best creator and goal scorer. That said with Holtby and Rothwell we have 2 ready made replacements, plus we can switch to 442. So we should be okay, providing someone picks up some scoring form. Quote
BlackburnEnd75 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Tbh if he's back for the start of next season that's a bonus. Gutted for him 1 Quote

We have Holtby and Rothwell who can play there plus we could go 4-4-2 aswell. Feel for Dack. Nasty injury. Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Wasn’t implying dack would be sold although the plan was to sell him in the summer I believe, an agreement he had with rovers management for a shot at the prem, that’s now in doubt. People can say holtby and rothwell but do either look like hitting the net consistently. Dack was almost a striker , I wouldn’t class either of them two as 1 Quote

I’d go for their left back - Robinson? - don’t know much about him but he was the best player on the pitch. Is he young? 2 Quote

Yes but until either play there we wont know but also it does allow us to go 4-4-2 maybe using Armstrong with Graham or Gallagher. Pedro Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Gutted for Dack. What a superb signing he has been. Cometh the hour, cometh the man - arise Sir Gladwin. 2 Quote
Kamy100 Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Apparently this is the suspected injury which if true is 6-8 weeks. Quote
