I am sorry - but how can one player make such a difference ?

If had played a defensive midfield player - then yes it would have been a negative signal - but playing a slightly more defensively aware winger is hardly going in with a negative mind set - it is giving the opposition some respect.

If you want to have a go at him - I would question the decision not to bring in a centre half - not for making one team change.

Exactly my point - we shouldn't be giving them any respect!! An earlier post alludes to us playing superbly on Wednesday with 4 attacking players, why change it?

Well between them they've turned this into an Oldham non event today christ knows what tactics have been laid down today but it's a balls up.

So annoying because it's so needless when you know what they can do with ghe correct approach but he seems intent on reeling them in after every high pressing performance. When you've found a winning formula just leave it alone for gods sake.

7 games without a clean sheet. Inexcusable, somebody needs to ask Mowbray why we can't stop conceding. Especially considering how good Wigan are at keeping a clean sheet. We're an embarrassment in comparison. I'm aware we aren't that far off the other teams in this league in terms of goals against, but they don't have the budget we have. This isn't acceptable.
