Hopefully that should put to bed that weird first half formation.

What formation did we start with? After seeing the lineup, I figured it was 3 at the back.

What a weird game.

I can't help but think that all these points dropped at home against teams we should be beating is going to cost us dearly.

Ofcourse they are. The table is pure mathematics.

Your'e on your own Jim

Oldham were excellent first half and should be given credit for that.

We were the better team in the 2nd half.

2-2 is OK, and we're nearer to Shrewsbury and Wigan

It looked to me that way as well. But as the half wore on, it became even stranger. At one stage, we had bell and Williams near their box, Payne and Dack near ours.

these sort of things should hopefully be unseen again.

Travis in place of Bennett, and drop one of Williams/bell.

It was only 2 days ago everyone was saying bell is a great signing.

I think rather than he is suddenly a terrible signing the strange formations and players out of position is more likely the cause

You're still in a minority of 1

Can’t say Bell was at the races today. Not bad but harsh to say he’s miles ahead of Williams but one of them need dropping.

The thing is, that's been said on numerous occasions this season and it still happens.

Surprised that no-one has mentioned the formation that turned it around in the second half was the much derided 3-5-2.

The fight shown in the second half gives me hope for the rest of the season, Bennett especially put in a huge effort.

I’m with Jim, a point gained is welcome.

Fans saying "we should be beating teams like this".

Oldham showed in the first half they're a decent outfit and exposed our weaknesses.

We're a point nearer our rivals. I'm a happy chap.

Far too much sense of entitlement on here.

How is it entitled to expect a home win against one of the teams in the relegation zone?

What were you hoping for,a draw?

Good to ultimately get a draw, but we were hideous until we scored. Should be smashing teams like that out of sight.

Not sure why Payne was given man of the match, must need a new watch...

The overwhelming positive for me was the performance of Lewis Travis, lad looks so confident and assured for someone his age. Some superb tackles from him as well.

Perspective really messes up the mind.

On the one hand, we should really have put that team to the sword, and it's 2 points dropped.

On the other hand, we were the only team in the top 4 to not get beat today.

A feeling of defeat turns into not such a bad day after all. This League has many twists and turns to come.

I was hoping we'd win of course. But we played very poorly in the first half. The league table means nothing to be honest. Northampton, Oldham and some of the other lower sides have given us our hardest games this season.

Point gained and on to the next round of matches.

Well, next round it's our turn to have a tougher game while Shrews and Wigan are having easier ones.

Maybe our tactics is to turn the tides when least expected.

You can do things two ways. Easy and hard.

Did those sides give Wigan or Shrewsbury their hardest games of the season ?

You are deluded.
