Whatever team he picks it better have amrstrong in. Graham gets pushed to close to the half way line when we have no pace in the side.

Think if payne plays he has to be central. Even if that means dack going out wide.

If they both have to play then dack wide and payne central is more dangerous than dack central and payne wide for me

800+ Rovers fans going to this - fantastic effort, yet again, especially for a Tuesday night game.

Let's hope we have a result to cheer about later. :brfc:

Fair play to them, that really is a big ask for a midweek game in shocking weather

Who do we drop though? Bennett and Smallwood up top 2 games ago were the answer we had been searching for for many seasons

Nyambe.

Ive posted what my team would be previous. Travis and Smallwood in centre midfield.

What would people think of Armstrong as lone striker ? Would totally change dynamic of team.

Would often alot more movement up front but no hold up play.

Like to see Graham and Armstrong up front. Dack in the 10 role

Pace and if he combines it with working his nuts off it could be a goer there's probably not many fast centre backs in this league so if you get someone between them who can motor it could work.

Smallwoods been decent all season, sadly that combinations effectiveness against Shrewsbury seems to have been something of a one off.

Bennett   dack  Armstrong

Would like to see the above front four, but not sure who could replace bennett in CM.

Bennett would provide good width and crosses into box, armstrong would provide same pace and stretch them on the left

Hopefully his crosses would be a lot better than so far this season, in particular on Saturday!

#Rovers: Raya, Nyambe, Mulgrew (c), Downing, Williams, Smallwood, Bennett, Payne, Dack, Armstrong, Samuel.

Subs: Leutwiler, Lenihan, Bell, Travis, Evans, Conway, Graham. https://t.co/zYrIulfAJs

And, hopefully, we'll see the three subs as Lenihan, Bell and Travis. Let's hope we aren't relying on Graham to try a nd salvage something.

Fair play to Tony he has made the tough choices. At least that side has some pace

Another frigging tinker and an XI which in combination has never started together before.

It might work, it might not.

But by now with no injuries other than Lenihan and no suspensions, we should know our strongest formation and players and we should be looking forward to 3 points without too much trepidation.
