Wigan will p*ss on them if they’re having to play twice in 48 hours. I think the only hope we have of Pompey upsetting them, is if Wigan get a player sent-off, I would imagine it will be a sell-out and the Portsmouth crowd can be intimidating if roused. Wigan after all, do have one or two wind-up merchants in their ranks. I know I'm clutching at straws here.

Couldn’t agree more- that first half was one of the best I’ve seen from anyone this season, when we played them at home. They weren’t too bad when they beat us either...

Walsall had players called up for international games and their game last week was postponed due to it. I'm guessing that Walsall asked the EFL if they could move their game back 24 hours so that the players that were called up had an extra days rest. Pompey Wigan is on Sky, that’s my point.
tomphil Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Forget Wigan they are the strongest side in this league and have been all season so I think they are destined to finish top. Let's just keep winning ourselves and ensure we get that second spot if nothing else. It all adds to the spice and motivation but they aren't going to blow it I think that's obvious.
Backroom Tom Posted March 30, 2018 Backroom Posted March 30, 2018 Shrewsbury need to pack it in now it’s not funny any more!

It's actually a surprisingly good position to be in. We should know what is required during every single game. Question is do Mowbrays men have the bottle?
G Somerset Rover Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Shrews CB getting stretchered off. Obviously hope it’s not too bad for the lad, but it’s gotta help the Dale today. Not over yet.

LDRover Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Old St Wilfridian and Baz Rathbone's lad too for the Dale. Gotta love it.
savage90 Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Go on Oli Rathbone. Embarrassing defending from Shrewsbury!
Backroom DE. Posted March 30, 2018 Backroom Posted March 30, 2018 In what other league could a team have not won in 9 matches and still occupy 5th place, 3 points and better GD ahead of 7th?
G Somerset Rover Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Whoever ends up in the play-offs out of us 3 will be praying they don’t face Plymouth who will likely finish 5th or 6th. Form team in the league by some distance outside of the top 3 I would imagine, and only side to beat us in yonks.
RevidgeBlue Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Bet down if Rochdale can hang on but I think I'd rather lose and live on beans on toast until Friday. The Shrews certainly appear to be picking up one or two injuries and suspensions.
West Yorks Rover Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Dale want to win this 3 shots in first 2 mins of 2nd half.
jim mk2 Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Cobblers getting tonked at home by Charlton. Plymouth doing the same to Southend
