tomphil Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Not seen any mention of what's unfolding there with the owner suing the ex chief exec who it looks like was doing a lot of acting on behalf of a certain agency. Some right stuff emerging and it certainly mirrors what was going on here from the takeover onwards and no surprise one or two of the same characters linked. Football really is a stinking business you cannot trust many it seems but the daft thing is it all gets done in a way that can only be seen in the eyes of the law as conflict of interest not the morally corrupt form of fraud it really is. Paying a managers wife for scouting .. come on !!! Makes me sick !

Backroom DE. Posted March 30, 2018 Backroom Posted March 30, 2018 Considering they've just been beaten 4-1 by a horrifically poor Sunderland team at home you have to assume it's affecting matters on the pitch as well. Haven't won in eight matches now...
tomphil Posted March 30, 2018 Author Posted March 30, 2018 Matt Lawton & co of the Mail are all over it unlike they were in our situation years ago although I suppose it's easier when it becomes an official lawsuit. Mind you our lot and the snakes were business partners after all so no doubt lots of back covering on both sides, not the case there it seems but another absent owners club being fleeced nonetheless.
