Mogga mentioned Derek Mountfield in an interview after the game when discussing Mulgrew's scoring exploits. He played for Villa ( and possibly Everton?) in the 80's. He must have banged a few in.

He did and I'm sure he didn't take penalties or free kicks (that's not decrying Mulgrew btw).

If Mulgrew wasn't taking half the corners he may have scored a few more!

He reminds me of when I played myself and we had one lad who was head and shoulders above the rest of us - he took the pens, the free kicks, the corners...

I'm genuinely stumped who to go for - and in a positive way. So many valid candidates.

Dack for the goals, creativity and excitement.

Mulgrew due to leading the team (hugely important) and his fantastic goal return from defence.

Bennett for making himself indispensible in no less than 3 positions.

You could also make a case that Smallwood has done something we haven't had since the Joneses left and gives us a proper dm who gets stuck in and protects the defence. Again hugely important and very underrated.

Went for Mulgrew as leadership is vital but may change it to Bennet for how well he has done in numerous positions. Great problem to have though - more of the same.

I’ve voted for Benno for his adaptability, enthusiasm regardless of where he was told to play and his interactions with the fans, who by the way are the most important part of our great club.

For performances on the pitch - Dack

For passion, drive and enthusiasm - Bennett

For leadership and experience - Mulgrew

For best facial hair - Graham

For best goals scored in training - Gladwin

For best beer gut - Caddis
