A fool and his money are easily parted.

Best performance in many many years.

Leeds were excellent. After the first game of the season against Stoke I thought you would go straight up but some indifferent results and performances put doubt in my mind. Last night's performance was full of intensity, pace and skill. And the performance seemed to inspire the crowd.

Smart recruitment at Leeds over a few seasons. Not a mega budget just sensible investment and exploitation of the European market. Some baffling managerial decisions and instability but get the right one and the results come immediately. Shows 'stability' isn't necessarily all it is cracked up to be.

Bamford at £7m was an excellent signing. Proven goalscorer at this level and a quality footballer. If he hadn't been injured Leeds would have more points on the board.

Same price as Brereton. Who got the better player ?

I’ve heard the flex ratio is shit.

If you mean because he will probably cost £4m+ extra in wages and be on far, far more than even our best players then you’re right.

Think what you want about BB but comparing his to the Bamford signing helps nobody.

West Brom's defence has been their achilles heel all season and it's why they're likely to end up fighting it out in the playoffs. 47 goals conceded makes them the weakest defence out of the top 9. They've only conceded five more goals over the season than we have - they just score a lot more than us.

West Brom were rubbish,  too much long ball.

Not sure they had any choice. At it from the 1st second. Coopers headed in the first 10 seconds. Bang have some of that. Brilliant night.

Ipswich also effectively relegated today with a 2-1 home defeat to Reading, combined with us gifting Rotherham three points. 23,000 on though which is impressive considering the awful season they're having. I think there was a cheap ticket promotion on though which obviously helped. James Collins went off injured again. Such is the risk of bringing in older players who haven't played in a while - exactly why I was against bringing Huth in, think it would have been a similar story.

Getting to the end game at Bolton you feel.

Staff still not paid, monthly direct debits for season tickets not taken and now training ground shut as no food or drink...

They deserve to go down and it would be a travesty if Rotherham or Reading went down at their expense.

It must surely be getting to a stage where they can't even complete their fixtures. If you can't pay players or staff, can't run a training ground and can't collect direct debits then the mechanics of hosting league fixtures must be tough.

Just seems to go on and on for Bolton. They'll still be playing whilst the stadium is being taken apart to make way for flats, having to weave through cranes and wheelbarrows.

How on earth have they still managed to avoid a points deduction? They're a joke.

On what grounds? Would be really kicking them when they are down

Maybe, but do you not think that it is unfair on Reading/Rotherham/Millwall and maybe even us if things carry on at this rate?

Most clubs have their houses in order and pay their staff and bills.

Why is it fair that Bolton could yet survive and someone else get relegated when everyone else pays their debts and wages and Bolton don't yet keep getting away with it?
