Backroom Tom Posted March 29, 2019 Backroom Posted March 29, 2019 Looks like Bolton could be bought by Bassini the chap who has twice been bankrupt and banned from all footballing activity for 3 years in 2013 Surely the football league can’t allow that? Course they will 2 Quote

Norbert Rassragr Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 That'll solve Bolton's problems, another plum with no money. As for the badge, keep it. Otherwise it'll end up looking like some borough council logo like Fulham or Balaji Rao's side boob. 1 Quote

Oldgregg86 Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 (edited) Brum leading 2-1 at the hawthorns. Mahoney with both assists. Been a brilliant game. I wish we played entertaining , attacking football like both of these are playing tonight. Really entertaining from both sides Edited March 29, 2019 by Oldgregg86 Quote
JHRover Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Watching West Brom defending is like watching us. Reading that article about Bassini at Bolton a few things seem very strange and have a whiff of suspicion about them. First off he claims to have got League approval. I'm sure they'll have some explaining to do if they quickly approve someone with his background. He then claims to have the funds to bankroll Bolton yet won't say how much he has and his companies are property developers and have very little information about them. He then says Dave Richards has agreed to become chairman and that he's going to get John Williams on board. Both big hitters in the football world, although both now in their 70s so i wonder what either would want with getting involved at a club that will be in League One next year? Very strange. Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 (edited) Mahoney gives penalty away and that wanker Rodriguez to take And scores Edited March 29, 2019 by Oldgregg86 Quote
Sparks Rover Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Just goes to show how slow and turgid mowbray's brand of football is . If he does sign anyone in the summer they'll be plodders average Joes Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 An improved performance today, but the way other results have gone, if we don't get a win in the next 3 games we will be in a relegation fight. How was this allowed happened from where we were? Can people really ever see us being a dominant team in this division under Mowbray? Even the most staunch supporters of him ask yourselves that and answer truthfully Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted March 30, 2019 Moderation Lead Posted March 30, 2019 That Kasey Palmer who people were saying wasn’t good enough for us has scored again, for a team above us in the league, away at Sheffield United. It’s a funny old game.... Quote

Ya, perhaps but we could still end up the closest team to them. How many points do we need to be mathematically safe? This season has turned into a shit show. A good performance today doesnt change that. We need points or we will have zero momentum going into next season. Quote

We could stay up this season with less points than we got relegated with last time we were in this division. Quote
danger19_80 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 No chance we'll be in a relegation battle. We're just in a very painful, awkward limp towards the finishing line. Quote
